Downloading 2nd MT

I need to download another MT how can I do this and re name it MT EOD for example .............when ever i download a new MT and then change the name of the short cut it seems to effect my other MT programme

Any ideas tips etc

WHen you install it. CHange the name to IBFX 1 IBFX 2 IBFX 3. I have 3 IBFX running in my PC and works perfectly.

REmember, during the process over installing, change all the name.

Then goes into C:/Program FiLE/ ...
You will have 3 seperate folder for each mt4.

Shortcuts for the same broker get overwritten - so copy out the important information from them first (link etc). You will have to come back later and recreate the shortcut unless you save it somehow. As suggested above, just place each install in a different folder.

That's strange. I have 10 MT platforms installed with no problems about shortcuts.

I think the problem is with the default shortcut/icon on the desktop. For me each additional installation of a platform from the same broker will over write the original desktop shortcut. I rename them before each new installation.

HOnestlY I still not sure what the problem on. BUt this is how I install. Mine works perfectly. ALl work independently from each other.

The funny thing is that you need to have only one instalation of the mt4.....
later just copy the whole MT4 folder, and copy it in program files as many times you want, but just name every one of them differently:

1_fxpro mt4
2_fxpro mt4
3_fxpro mt4
etc......

Later just take the executable of mt4 from every copyed folder,
drag it to desktop, and rename it just like the above:

1_fxpro mt4
2_fxpro mt4
3_fxpro mt4
etc......
