Good Free Forex Analysis Site?

Was wondering if anyone knew of a nice free/cheap site that offered a nice little forex Analysis type program. Like dailyfx has there forex Analysis program and it shows you the trend and what not. thanks (I'm asking because I lost everything within 24 hours haha... I lost all the money I deposited to start forex so before I try at it again I wanna be prepared.)

Build your own market intuition. Don't rely on what some website tells you.

Well I was trading demo GREAT but I just started live yesterday using what I looked for previously and I couldn't profit if my life depended on it. also too with nice trends and indicators i think it would help with my desecions wouldn't be my sole factor.

Ignore all that hype for various systems. Remember--for now--this one fundamental rule: The exit is more important than the entry.

With that in mind, I want you to do the following on a demo account:

1) Toss a coin: Heads long, Tails short
2) Manage the trade as you see fit. If you think the trade is bad, exit.
3) When you exit a trade, go back to step 1.

If you can double your account in less than 50 flips, I consider you a good enough trader to go live. I personally average between 20 and 30 flips, and I do it once a week, on the weekends, trading simulated data.


Try it. It helps, LOADS.

I will try that raygun thanks but I'm looking for something that will atleast give me an idea of where the trend is ya know

No need to complicate things.

If you don't know where the trend is, take Jacko's advice: Show it to a 5 year old.

You are approching this whole forex thing wrong.
It seems to me like you just read a "How to be a brain surgeon in less than 20 Minutes" Book. Now your first patient is dead after after hitting him on the head with a hammer you ask yourself. What the hell did I do wrong? That sh*t is to supposed to be simple! Man I read that book! It says do this and that and you will make money.

very late reply to the post...but I saw Ronald R strategy...actually his strategy is correct mathematically/statistically and can be proved statistically, for any trading, game where you have a certain probability to win vs loss. The problem, is people and psychology... where we cant apply consistent rules!

Agree. A temporary negative mental state can ruin even the best strategies.

However I like Ronalds test idea, I will try it for fun... and to learn more.

It can played by a simple coin toss game...u have 2 out comes win or loss (like trading)...with a 50/50 chance in every coin toss...u will play a fixed number of games, with proper money management / lot strategy, u can always land with a certain minimum profit (that can be calculated) so that is the basic....but in trading, there are few more factors like you may not have .5/.5 chance (mostly u dont know your chance, mostly u guess , even if u think u know), hence the MM & lots strategy more complex, there are sometimes certain external influence and your own ability to handle all this i.e psychology

Trading View is a very good website for analysis by the traders.
Apart from that 2ndskiesforex is another website that I watch everyday.

How about sites that tells you what the market cares and hence trend formation based on these facts. U can print out a chart n see if it's going up or down or sideways. But how would you know if the trend is going to continue or collapse?? I use forexlive.com and orderflowtrading.com for news feeds/analysis, though they won't tell me the trends, ops. we trade the future, not the past, no point in investing your time in wat already happened. just my two cents. =p
