14:36 GMT - Inevitably, the Dow opens lower (down 1.75% already) and [USD/JPY] has ticked lower as a result. A US Prime name and Swiss bank have been noted sellers in Europe, but Japanese investor led bidding interests into 97.50 worked to prop earlier and we do not envisage any breaks either way at this stage. Still, stops remain in place through 97.40 and a break could open up even greater downside towards 97.00/10 where more Japanese account led bids are stationed, we are told.
