Following on from the mentoring really, and something that might be more feasible, training courses, which ones are good and bad and how did they help you?

Babypips.com offers a section titled "school" and I have found it very informative. I would say that even the most dedicated would take a minimum of a month to go all the way through, religiously demo trading and taking as many notes as possible. I would also recommend CMS's VT Trader as a charting platform and carefully choosing your indicators and finding what works best for you. Good luck.

for babypips for learning the basics. No course can teach the feeling of trading live. Don't mess with demoing to long because you will just have to learn everything again when you start using real money.

Start with a couple of hundred on a micro account and trade one pair to start. You will learn far more and probably cheaper in the long run.

Babypips was the best thing that I've used after using some rip off courses.

Another thing that really helped me was to watch other traders break down trades on youtube next to lining up trades on my tradingview and then taking trades on my demo MT4 account to get use to the whole trading thing before playing with my own real money.

A good trading course will help you to understand a lot of things. But it's not the everything. Every person is different psychologically. You have to develop your own understanding of the market. Alone a course will not help you to be profitable.

Right. Learning forex isn't an easy thing to do. People spend a lot of time on learning and every beginner should do that imo. Sticking on just one course wont help, you have to keep looking for meaningful stuff on the internet.

Make sure that your broker also provides you with education. If they are serious, they will.

Trading courses help you to become expert in the forex. To make money knowledge is very important in this risky market.
