I love using Oanda, and leverage is not an issue. I have my account set to 10:1 leverage. I will trade about 1/4 of the allowed units, which is about 2.5% of leverage on 100:1 if I am not mistaken. I wont touch the leverage setting, this way if I ever do something stupid I wont hurt myself too bad. :
Ignored
Yup, and that's why OANDA doesn't even offer leverage higher than 50:1, because they don't want their clients doing something stupid...or so they claim.

It should be noted that Oanda's maximum leverage to OPEN a trade is 50:1. Once the trade is opened, then the required leverage to maintain said trade is 100:1.

OANDA has well reputation. Before, I also trade with them, but since my strategy need more than 1:50 leverages I moved to IBFX Aussie

As my understanding ( CMIIW ) , maximum leverages for NFA brokerages is 1:50 and do not allow hedging strategy.

Can you imagine i bid on Aud/usd and TP error by IGmarkets at offer eur/usd during spike??? it really a laughing and dangerous matter from Igmarket..lucky i bid when price moved upward which i gain 6,9k since i entry aud/usd 1.0552and close out by system due to "spike' on eur/usd 1.3552 by them. But only after 1hr, IG's customer officer write an email about "System Error" and ask to return $$.
