I would not say a negitive. They white lable saxo platform and MT4 platform.

Nevertheless, finally a local MT4 broker.

Hi Guys,
I've been running both the demo and live MT4 platforms offered by GoMarkets and to be honest I'm a bit concerned with the data ie plenty of spikes and the volume and prices aren't even close to Broco or Alpari.

The account managers are very pleasent to deal with but remember that's why they were picked for the job.

MT4 has been around for a long time so I do see why there should be any software hiccups re data. It is early days yet but remember it's your money that's on the line.
Personally I will not be funding the account until I see an improvement with the data supply.

I have been using mt4 charts from Admiral investments. I have been comparing the feed from them with the GO Markets charts. The Admiral charts out of England start the new day 2hours after the Go Markets charts. So here in NSW the Go charts new day start at 9.00am. Comparing the two charts the 4hr candles are really the only obvious difference. I don`t see any different spikes between the two different feeds on the 1hr chart which I trade off. I use fibs to trade off and everything is almost identical on both feeds. The prices on both charts are almost identical all the time. So in the 2 weeks Ive been comparing I personally cant see a difference. I must add though I have not as yet got a live account with them, only their demo. But so is the Admiral charts. I will be trading live with them soon. So if anything changes I will inform you.

Hi Guys,
Please find attached a gif of GoTrader Gold 1 min cht as you can see u would have been stopped out depending on your stoploss settings. I want GoTrader to be a good reliable platform to trade with. So I see our scrutiny as a means to an end that it happens. ;-)

Been trading live with this company since they released MT4 a few weeks ago. There were a few glitches and spikes on charts initially but after a few phone calls to see what was going on things have really gotten better.

Apparently they are fine tuning their price feeds and servers.

Haven't tested the withdrawing funds but hopefully wont be an issue.

The sub-standard charts posted below should be a clear warning to anyone not to risk their hard earned money under such a data feed setup.

This Company does NOT identify its Management on its website and have refused to divulge to me who is behind their white label setup.

This is another warning.

Transparency is no. 1 in regard to honesty.

Making consistent profit trading in FX is very - very - hard.
All the odds are against the would-be trader.
A reliable data feed and fair pricing is paramount.
Knowing who is behind running the show and handling your money is also a must.

Gi day fxdoc. I see your from Australia as well. Who do you trade with at present? I use FXCM but am certainly interested in an Ausi broker.

Unfortunately, no Metatrader there.......

fxdoc, thanks for the tip on what is expected from a broker, it helps a newbie like myself. I have also had interest on the Oz broker, but not going near it if they don't seem honest. I am about to open an a live account, I am considering Alpari, what do you think?

Fxdoc - I don't work for Go but am just getting into fxtrading. i'm based in sydney and would rather keep my money in oz than send overseas at the moment. I'm not saying Go are perfect at all but i will carry on trying their mt4 and if they play dirty then i will move to someone like IG who are also local.

i have also had a saxo account before but their spreads are mental at the moment. did anyone see them over the news on friday night?

Today was a crazy day for spikes on both GBPUSD and AUDUSD timed at 5.32 data feed time. Wish they could get there act together.

hey guys ive got a question regarding overseas and US brokers...

i was just looking into getting a live account with ibfx but theres an issue.

Say i deposit $1000 AUD, it then gets converted to say $600USD. If i trade that to $800 USD and want to withdraw it it gets converted to australian dollars back. That means if the exchange rate goes down more i could actually receive less than $1000 AUD even though ive made money???
