Cant change leverage ratio

Hey guys, after much study and demo trading I decided to open a live account. I realized that the most important thing about forex trading is money management and consequently decided to open an account with 4:1 leverage. I'm planning to open an account with $2500. I have decided to give it a go with IBFX because I mostly trade daily and news dont really bother me that much. Anyways, when I downloaded metatrader, it only gives me the option to trader with either 1:1 or 1:10 leverage but I cannot choose 1:4. I guess they do this on purpose but I was just wondering if there was a way of changing this leverage manually or if there was a reliable metatrader broker that offers 4:1 leverage. I also contacted IBFX and the guy told me it was not possible. I know I can use Oanda, but I have done all of my training in metatrader and dont want to change strategies after much research.

Lol 4:1 That'd mean you trade less than what you invest
With 1:1 you can just aswell run to the bank and exchange the money.

I meant 1:4 leverage. I want to trade $10,000 with $2500.

Anybody? Its probably a rookie question, that's why I posted it on the rookie discussion forum.
