It's always like that, actually I thought I knew how to trade after a couple of months and the account blew up in my face, that felt shytty lol

It is a phase that a trader should go through IMO, and that's how he/she will learn from his/her mistake.

i'm in the middle of it right now.......and it sucks
And i been doing this for awhile.

A 1000 pip move over the last 24 hours and i have managed to LOSE pips.

I can play long .. .scalping is my game and i will play long and short .... this market is tough to trade ..

the whipsaws are huge. Entries have to be timed well and if you are trading with the overall direction ( down ) you can suffer a draw down if your entry is wrong , as long as you are not overleveraged

scalping targets 154.....153.5 , 153 , 50 pip intervals down from there , price breaks 154.5 maybe test 155 for long .
Higher confidence trades = higher percentage risked = account up 149% in 5 days = sometimes you gotta go for it.

To be a successful trader, you need to have the right mindset to trade and manage your account.

If you are distracted or have issues in your personal life, it will affect your trading.

When it comes to trading, you must become a robot (no emotions)

i've posted it before.
and for anyone else sucking wind like me....here are my downfalls:

1. Entering "to late"
2. Not getting out when the "move has happened"
3. Chasing trades.

Perfect example is this.
Lets say there is a 500 pip move.
No one is going to get in at the top or the bottom....(except a few)
So lets say that leaves 400 pips left. I end of getting in 75 to late and out 75 to early or late (should have closed on retrace)

Then once i am "in profits" say 50 pips.....i place my stop at be (maybe take half off) I then get stopped out on the retrace (see above part)
I then look to reenter and chase the trade

Next thing you know.....i originally made lets say 150 pips on one good trade, then give back 175 on the next 3 bad ones.

And the story goes round and round.
