This is classic big boy stuff, get a fake rally going in UJ which is having a hell of time breaking thru to 99/100, to trap bulls then....

well you do know what happens then right? right?

my 4h and 1h show strong move back up to 159 before we drop again. we tested fridays low and didn't break thru so we're on a correction back up now

so was thinking i would just short from 5800 and hold all the way to the bottom......now wondering what the hell the bottom is.....and do we go back to 6400 first.

I think if it breaks the 4h trendline and closes below it, we would have a big drop. Sold this pair again ..

newbies take note of what i saw yesterday ... this explains it all .... and for me a very easy start to the week and we are only just warming up

yesterdays move up was a very classic bull trap

I am not admitting I did not have some pain on one position (-500) but was buying on way up , adding short on way up as well , so by the end of the session i was +400 up

now with just my swing trades I am +600 on gj , not to mention the wonderful day of day trading we had today on gu and gj for another 500

I am hoping that swing trades hit my target of 125 ....that would be all good with me.

by the way I am NOT a swing trader...... this trade was just way to easy to pass up

Now that the NY guys are taking lunch - and I'm soon going to have supper - its a good time to look at the bigger picture.

Last Thursday's high was an exact hit on the fibonacci 61.8% retracement of the last leg down - also the 100 ema - and happened during the FO / LO candle.

This morning's high was a Lower High, also in the FO / LO candle, and was a small doji. The wide range red candle in the early US session broke the green up trend line and has again stalled at the 38.2% retracement of the rally.

Currently price is falling inside the magenta parellel down trend line and has again stalled around the 38.2% retrace - this candle will not close for another 2 hours, so its current formation is irrelevent.

THE question now is which - IF ANY - of these fibonacci levels will hold?

So far this fall has been mainly produced by the drop in GBPUSD which is now at its 61.8% support, whilst USDJPY is still holding within 100 or so pips of its equivalent high and staying above its green uptrend line.

Lets see what the US afternoon session brings.....

lol you should give my broker a medal for making my execution times > 30 seconds yesterday and paying them a couple grand LOL
