I JUST HAD TRADES WIPED FROM MY HISTORY WITH FXCM!
FXCM users, check your records for the last two hours. I am closing my account tomorrow. Insane!

What do you mean trades wiped? All trades closed.. or records erased? Is your balance the same? Shit, the last thing we need is brokers stealing literally besides the spikes and insane spreads

can we all COLLECTIVEly NOT trade with FXCM? i have heard so much madness with fxcm and not being able to withdraw funds etc. why even support them. lets all boycott and take our business elsewhere

GFT is fine if you can deal with getting slipped. spread on g/j is never above 8

My records were erased.There is a 45 min. gap in my trade report. I had a G/J loss and a E/U win or two, but it's like I never took the trades.

Do you have ODL live trade server being hung? It happens almost everyday on their Demo server.
i am with IBFX, FXSOL and FXDD

i think we need to DIVERSIFY our brokers so if one gets bust we have our trading capital split in 3 ways. i did that because my money went down with REFCOFX. lol. so no more relying on ONE broker. you never know who cooks the books and who is genuine anymore

It works best when there is some major market movement.. like last year (july 2007) when carries crashed.. I would short GJ (based on uj movements) .. get out at levels like 107.00, 106.00.. because it would bounce around .. get in again once cracked and so on.

LOL - I'm using a very similar strategy on EJ - slightly less volatile than GJ and really loves the sweet spot levels.

Good! I just completed my accounts and are starting to migrate funds. I think I will be much more happier with these guys with less hands in my pockets.

The thing that really burns me about FXCM is that they think and preach they are so great with their direct dealing desk but in truth the swap is crap and their spreads are only less than 7 or 8pips 5% of the time. Today between 4 and 9pm is hovered at 20 to 35pips... How do they expect anyone to make money. Just a waste of time and pure greed on their part!

Are you short on EU as well? Some EU guy announced 20 minutes ago that another rate cut is possible.. it's been dropping since then. Easy trade

guess what? I have g/j open and trading. but on my other screen i have u/j open and you are right......the levels are matching! . so i am keeping an eye on u/j. not sure who is following who but they sure are similar but the moves with BIGGER magnitude on g/j

whats your g/j target tp? i was thinking of 154.49. urs?

No gj tgt.. i'm waiting for 96.50 on uj.. very tough. and the recent uj upward move has dampened my confidence.. this is where karmo's pills help lol.

I honestly think UJ should slide through 96.50. Just hate the waiting game and the mad volatility.

Hey Islander, long time no see. Hope all has been well with you. Wallowing in pips here most recently from 62.50 Gy and 28.30ish EJ. Been hangin on the EU thread lately. Stop by and annoy Jaywalker with me sometime...

I think in 18 months I have only had 2 outages of any kind, on one that slipped they made up by offering better prices and tighter spreads to compensate for their error - now, would FXCM do that? I dont think so.

ODL also have a spread account as well, I am just about to evaluate the software although it has been in place since Jan 08.

I have no issues with ODL.

waking up to see breakfast on my bed was really touching. especially that i had some SLs for breakfast
