I've been away from trading working on a project at work but finally done and looking forward to trading on Sunday. One quick question for CD. I've seen that some have moving averages posted on their charts when they are showing their trades, have they been added to the system or not? I started trading when this system first started and use just the heiken ashi, cci, rsi and that's it. I just want to make sure CD has not changed anything while I was away.

Thanks Cd, your set up gives me something to do while waiting on longer time frame trades to set up or while in a few and managing them. These have been a few very good weeks, This won't last forever. But i'll bank the pips while I can.

I'm one who personally uses 2 MA's on my chart, for support/resistance and as a filter. CD let me know if you think this is throwing off some of the traders or taking away from your set up at all. Ever trade I posted was a straight CD rule based trade, I just love when CD'S rules coincide with the MA bounce myself. If you think this is a problem, I can post any future charts with just the straight CD set up, NO MA's

A scalper on another thread uses 3/8 EMAs as a primary component of his system. I will look to see how that correlates.

Not a problem at all. I like your thinking. I just want to bring in some pips. Like RR said, having as much on your side is the best thing. So if you noticed that the MA's are helping, I will give them a shot as I'm still new to this scalping method and sometimes trigger happy, so having to wait a bit will let me understand how the market moves on a short time frame and how it reacts to the MA's. I see that you posted the two MA's you use. Can I use them on the EUR/USD pair?

Hello Pipsot,

I see in your charts in Forex Factory and that of others, that you have red arrows down and green arrows up when Iken Hashi changes direction. I don't have these arrows in my chart. What should I do to get them?? Can yourself or someone else advice??

In this entry i targeted 3 pips above the daily high (i always target 3 pips ahead of the next fib level as i have seen price bounce off the fib level without actually touching it) and lo and behold it hit my target with a little more downside movement.

A good +26 pips.

I liken this system of Canadian_Dude to the sublime skill of Dimitar Berbatov, usually lazy but when he appears produces 'lazy, lovely bits of skill'

P.S For those new to this system and forex as a whole i think it is better to start with one currency pair and add other pairs as experience sets in.

Hi,

Great system you have CD. Thanks for sharing it. I just wanted to say that I was loosing using your system because of only one reason:

I wasn't EXACTLY going by the RULES.

I'll try my best from now on (for my own sake..lol).

the arrows on my chart and on a few others, I cant speak for everybody. is the Arrow_RSI_Cross indicator

I got a question, I tweaked Canadian Dudes system a little bit to adjust it to my trading and I'm very satisfied with the result. You have to know all the indicators and their habits and how they react, but than you know the exact entry point when to jump in. All the tests that I had so far were successful.

If I want to post my template, do I also have to post the indicators so that it works?

Depends on the indicators you're using, if you're using custom indicators, it's a good idea to post those too

OK.
I post the indicators. If you already have those, I think you'll be fine.

The two RSI's are to be seen as normal stated by "Canadian Dude". As you guys see, there are two Parabolics. Both have to be on one side to enter. Also, the MACD and the FX5_Divergence_V2.1 have to go or down (plus the Parabolic indicators have to tend also up or down) in order to enter. Just see the pic.


Any question?
Do me a favor and try them out. Would like to know what you guys think.

One thing. You have to know the MACD and when that thing is flat-lining. If you move in during the flat-lining, there is no way of knowing where that thing goes.

Try changing the chart to EJ, and see what happens.

I think the EJ in EJ Candle time stands for EURJPY

Thanx for the indicators and template. But the template would be so much better if you deleted all your trendlines on your template, then save it and repost it.

That way we all won't be getting the trend lines that you drew in the past.

Just a suggestion.
