well, looks like the bull run now halted with consumer index dropping by record level from 52.2 to 38.

First we have the 4 hour gann and QQEs crossed up ( on my charts at least).

Now check out this 30 minute chart. You'll see the pin 2 bars ago and the confirm on the last bar. More often than not, you'll see a retracement directly after that formation. If you weren't already in a trade, I would never dream of trading solely on that notion however. That's just from a technical standpoint. The news could actually throw it off quite easily as it attracts attention- especially considering that's only a 30 minute chart lol

just took the short trade 10 min ago after seeing rising wedge in 1 min chart.
stopped out @ news spike. had sl move @ be. should have left it where it was.

That idea went Nil fairly quickly lol Still long based on the 4 hour and currently in a small drawdown with it- It'll probably be a large drawdown or a loss before turning back up if it does.

what a market eh Mike?

i gave back about 70% of my profits from last night. i should have WALKED away AND GONE to sleep. lol. half asleep trading does not help with this sporatic market

I hear ya on that, I've only traded the 4hour and 15 minute signals for it lately other than the shorts I had from a few days ago on various pairs. I always try to do a little workout before coming to my computer to make sure I'm awake too. It really does help, IMO.

mike i trade pinbars so frequently that i have known their their behaviour which is coinsistent about 85-90 percent of time and it behaves exactly as u have described -- but there is one difference.--- their behaviour is similar to ur explaination when they are occuring at the end of trend and signalling a reversal. the pinbar u posted in is trafic and most lilke may not behave like a normal piunbar. in other words,it isnt a A+ pinbar.

Yep, I should have posted that it wasn't as well, just a little confirm to the 4 hour setup in a way. I've seen pins do this for a long time now as well, and it works great to get in at a better price than just on the break if your not "trigger happy" like most lol
