I think we will ..... everything goes in cycles .....I have a hard time thinking 1 hour ahead let alone years lol

I am a scalper .. always have been in in the days when she only moved 100 pip ... it would be in 60 pip cycles and you could harvest the pips in the range collecting 50 - 200 per day ... now it is just easier and it is 500 to 2000 per day ...lol

oh i'm having a tough morning here, 4 trades to get it right

1. Short 145.89 drop 50 pips retract stopped out at B/E (+1 pip actually)
2. Short 146.97 drop 80 pips retract stopped out at +10 pip
3. Short GU 1.5661 drop 75 pips retract stopped out at +10 pip

Try again, short 147.21, now sitting +340pip, short GU1.5700 now sitting +170ish..

but man during the days you're talking about, even if you dont set S/L to your trade and things go against you, you'll have a strong probability that the pair will reach your entry again, right?
I recommend you read something else as this sentence is now concluded.

go back and look at morning charts ...... put trend line on 10 min charts ... the trend was UP .... you should have been going long on dips.... that is why you were having an issue. Most of my trades this morning were long on dips for 60 plus pips each trade. Until this afternoon....

I was shorting all the time on friday ... made a bunch but could have made way more if I had of just plotted the trend line and trusted it.

money management inthis market is critical .... I never risk more than 1.5% of account .... and in a whaky market like today I take that risk down even more to .75% . My position size is based on my account and risk per trade. I take half off at 30 or 50 pip and move stop to break or -10 , that way I can trade stress free most of the time as the worst that happens is i make 30 or 50 pips

I have been batting around 75% , keeping the losses SMALL and letting the winners run ..... that is the secret to still being here next year and the year after and the year after

Following my rules, the trend was up, but I was getting pretty good entry signals to go short, I just should have been scalping them off instead of looking for the 300 pip move

yea...it was a sweet short. Im in for a long scalp right now. It appears like we are due for a retracement and maybe a reversal based on PA and Fib levels.

Well...my platform was trying to get the short order, but i cancelled it. I didn't expect it to create that bar! LOL!
