thanks for sharing your system, it has a fantastic setup. I am studying it since ysterday and it looks good. An additional filter is required indeed, so I am very curious about your new filter!

I understand that you make good progression with the filter and test results are nice. Just because of great curiosity I ask you to post a screenshot of the filter at work.

hey CD, great system mate. I've just been reading through the entire thread and the best part is your a down-to earth guy.. no horns

I have a question, pls can you take a look at the attached pic. This morning, there was a scenario where CSI 170 went above 0 & RSI also abouve 55 but CSI 34 wasn't above 0, eventually CSI 34 did go abouve 0 .. but I was wondering if I should have waited until CSI 34 went abouve 0 given the fact that CSI 170 was above 0, heira indi was blue & RSI was above 55...

if u see there was a good few pips before CSI 34 decided to go over 0

If I may attempt....

You might miss a few pips, even a whole trade, but if you look at what happened after the CCI34 also crossed the 0 line... the trade was much safer and actually had a steady clime from there upwards, eliminating some of the false signals than might have been produced.

EDIT:
Sorry, I had another look at your chart, isn't the CCI 120 the one with the histogram, tha actuall cross later.
If so, then the CCI34 cossed first, made a pullback and then continued on its merry way at your yellow line

Can someome please explain the signifance of the Grey and Gold bars on this indicator or if already explained in this thread, direct me to the post.

if you read the PDF at woodiescciclub.com (PDF is copywrited, so you can only download it from his website - it is FREE) he explains that the greybar and goldbar signals that a trend might change, but for it to be a significant trend change it all should be 6 bars (if i remember correctly), the bar count include the grey and gold bar.

Sounds like you have some life experience! Get your son to read "Trade your way to financial freedom" By Van Tharp, and "Safe Strategies for Financial Freedom", also by Van Tharp. Read Read Read and ask lot's of questions and he will be on his way.

Hey, I just wanted to see how trading went last night and early this morning? I started trading this system when the chat was in the skype room and got hit with a project at work and have not be able to trade since. Working long days, so I'm not able to keep up right now. I know this system has some serious potential so I wanted to see how things were going. I'm looking to be done with my project and back into trading later this week...maybe tonight if I can get a trade early enough!

Hi guys,
I had my first full day of trading this wonderful system and i finished on the positive side of things. I traded only one currency (EURUSD) and had 5 trades and had the following results +4, -13, -17, +36, +6. The losses were my fault as in both occasions i didn't allow the trend to establish itself i.e i rushed my 170 and should have allowed for a re-entry of the 34 which i did with all my winning trades. My problem is that in all my trades i exited to fast and ended up missing a up to 100 pips on my +4 and +6 trades. Please when should i look to exit a trade?
I'm getting the entry okay but feel I'm cutting myself short with my exit.

Thanks guys for making my day profitable!

can someone tell me what are the settings of T3 RSI?
I understand it should be RSI_Period 8 and T3_Period 14 so we should see and work with RSI 8 but when i look at the white line that should be RSI 8 it shows me actually RSI 14. so what's the deal?

It's a coding error. T3 seems to apply to both lines.

Focus on one pair, learn how it behaves and watch the price action while you're in the trade. After a while u should be able to tell if a trade has the potential to go the full 100 pips etc.

An alternative would be to shoot for around 10-20 pips per trade, again depending on the price action/momentum.

Uh - Post #1? Woodies Double CCI. Change the values to 34 & 170.

Thanks Nesa, I'm actually trading the Euro only and will look at what you said and see how it pans out.

Please is this a valid entry signal? I want to confirm if i could have entered this trade at the red line or would have had to wait for the 170 to be more established?
