EA based on Triggerlines

HI Guys,

Can you please tell me how can I define the color change in an EA...Like some indicators displays diff colours depending on the trend. How can I write this in EA,...Basically i am trying to make an EA based on Triggerlines..Please Help

You are going to have to find a way to extract the raw values of "wt" and "lsma_ma." You could use
double iCustom( string symbol, int timeframe, string name, ..., int mode, int shift) and compare the values of "int mode"= 0 & 1, 0 being the first buffer and 1 being the second buffer. Then match these values to the wt & lsma values. Looking at the code wt should be mode 0 and lsma should be mode 1, and if wt<lsma the line will be red, if lsma<wt, the line will be blue.

I worked with this indicator for quite a while and finally gave up. It is a great indicator except for one thing. Like all indicators if you use the values on the "open" candle you will find that during a transition point, the trigger lines will change color several times during the same time frame until the open candle closes. This can play havoc with your EA opening or closing trades when you really didn't want them to.

The other idea was to use the first close values and program the EA to use that, but you will find that entries and exits occur too late, especially during a rapidly moving market.

My suggestion is use the trigger lines in conjuction with an oscillator to help stablize the "waggle" that occurrs during the open candle. FX sniper's T3 CCI comes to mind. It is excellent.
