I am using the EA FX Prime2 found earlier on this thread.
I do a weekly tune using the optimization feature, for the Take profit, Stop Loss and Trailing Stop Loss.
Presently I use : TP = 60, SL = 20, Trailin SL = 39.

Also, I disabled the CLOSE TRADE lines in the EA, cause it closed winning trades too early, or even open trades at lost.

I also inserted as external variable :
extern int RSIEntryLong = 55;
extern int RSIEntryShort = 45;
and:
string RSIDirection = "None";
if(RSIEntry && RSI > RSIEntryLong) RSIDirection = "Long";
if(RSIEntry && RSI < RSIEntryShort) RSIDirection = "Short";

same, using the optimization method of MT4 to fine tune on weekly basis those entry levels to trades.

I set up 0.1 Lot for trade, (No money management) and will try to update on weekly basis.


The yeld was pretty good, and it seems that a weekly tune up is mandatory to keep the system winning.

Yesterday was my first day trading with this system. I managed 55 pips on the day. It seems important to exercise restraint and only take the trades that give all the signals. Hard to do sometimes when watching from the sidelines to see the candles rise and fall 100+ pips.

Yet a wise man told me, "Its better to be on the sidelines wishing you were in, than to be in wishing you were out".

I find that excellent advice.

So far today I am up 136 pips!!

Hi CD!

Great method. I haven't tried it yet but I've observed the chatroom and read through the entire thread. I wish you all the best of luck. One day I'll get the time to trade again.

Would it be too much to ask for you to update post #1 as new indicators, templates and rules are added? This thread is growing very quickly and it might clear up a lot of questions if this was done.

Anyway, just a suggestion!

thx CD i will test the sidewinder indicator

and for the 8drems EA's i will give them a try looks good

after reading 8Drems post i realised fxprime.mq4 and fxprime2.mq4 experts files were not in the right folder, maybe it should have been specidifed LOL!! my bad

anyways for the canadian dude v1 i put it just for the sounds, but i shrinked it to not see it, only use it for the alerts, but should i use fxprime EA or not ??? because it has alerts and other stuff, just wanna know if people use it

First off nice. trading system, here is a ea I use to close my orders. it is very handy and you can set your stop loss, trailing stop, and take profit. What I like is once you open a trade it takes care of it and the broker has no idea where your take profit stop or ts is set at. You only need to add it to one chart it will handle all open trades on all the other charts. I hope this helps with this system.

sidewinder realy easy to understand, it helps it's a good tiny indicator will test more to see its affectiveness

my problem is the EA's now that is confusing to me do any of you use them or not ?

I have been using the sidewinder for monthes, it is a great indicator and a must have. Plus i really like the zz_ensign fibo it is a great fib indicator I am going to see how good it works with this system. I am sure it will though.

I addid it to this post when you install the indicator on the chart in the settings set ExtFiboDynamic to true.

Ok not sure how to utilize this indicator. For instance, starting at the 22 Oct 17:20 candle on the one minute chart, we get the following one minute candles : a red, green, yellow,green, red, yellow yellow, red green green green yellow red red........ etc.

How does this help? I don't see where it takes into account, fibo, support and resistance levels or current trend. I think it is more confusing than an accurate indicator.

What am I missing here?

well I'm not so disciplined trader because I didn't put SL in my trades but I do another things...first I watch the bigger time frame and when I determine the trend of the pair then put trades only in that direction...so if I put some trades in that direction and after that I have some losses because of bouncing, I will still be in the trade because the bigger trend will turn my losses in profit...but you should have some limits, for example EU about 15-20 pips, and GJ can go up to 50 pips SL...if you are in bigger trend it soon that huge lose of 50 pips in GJ will turn in profit with at least 100 pips...I use laguere-0.75 indicator for exit GJ it looks that generates really nice signals...also it is very important that if you want to trade against major trend and want to collect some pips from bouncing than you need much lower SL because in every moment the market can turn against you and take your money away...fib lines, pivot lines, support and resistance is also included in trading process, but it is well discussed by CD...
I haven't put trades today, I was very busy...I'm in GMT+1 so maybe tonight will be some good trade opportunities...see ya in chat room...
