I was around -2100 on 3 individual systems which uses a semi-martingale 4 long sequence but kept playing the system. This morning I awake to a +600 and all system have been closed by "close at equity amount" EA. I was reversing all of FF's signals and lost my 4 long sequence several times, I just kept trading the signals. I really like this close at equity amount EA. Haven't figured out to live play the 1hr, 4hr or daily system I playing, with the daily system I'm not glued to the screen. Luv the basket trading when it works, hate the basket when it's losing.

I didn't trade as much yesterday but that remains my question. The entry crteria still seem uncertain. People said the market was trending yesterday yet some reversed trades didn't work. I had a 4 am reversed trade yesterday that worked great and an 8 am reversed trade that bombed. Until we can define specific entry conditions using thiss system live is a bit like Russian Roulette. that said I really do like the basket approach.

on 21/10/2008 after the us session I sold all the currencies and no reason for that.Today Just after the starting of us session I saw the Account all positive.

I also noticed in CFF 1.4 current on daily histogram US $ and JPY is in strong position

Now i reversed the order for all currencies as buy

I have not looked into the maximum draw down for the contracts closed

For me I'm on California time and I traded the 6am canlde, the 10,2,and 6 candles. 3 out of 4 candles the reverse method was successful but it was a struggle on every one. Last week i grabbed great profit within the first 90 minutes. Yesterday it usually took 3-3.5 hours to get small profit from it. I'm going to cut my losses at about -480 pips and use that as a stop loss. Paris

Closed the 6 am candle with about +235 pips with all reverse trades on v.1.03 set to level 0. Now i got time to do other things before the 10am candle. Paris

Are you saying that the best trades would be when 3 or 4 time frames agree, and take only those pairs?
On your trade shown on the chart, which was a short on the EUR/USD, the 60 minute chart showed it as a BUY. Your system and chart (which looks very good) showed it as a sell. Were you following your own system on that trade, or the ES Trader system?
I have been confused on this reversal thing since it was mentioned, and I don't really think anyone as yet has come up with any clear answers as to when to use it, except to determine when the entire basket = entire market, is trending, to use the regular system, and when it's not, do a reversal.
What started as a relatively simple system has become confusing and complicated with some doing reversals and some not, and some taking only trades that only have 4 time frames in agreement, whereas the system originator says to only use the 4 hour time frame.
Your system seems to work fine independent of this one, and I'm having trouble finding how you used on the EUR/USD trade referred to, when the CCP called for the opposite trade.

No one is interested in making these changes?
If u see the indicator rapidly refresh and if someone can added the % change
of value of any single currencies ad open from open bar we can see esily the direction of currincy at any TF.
Nobody thinks that might be useful?

I would be very grateful to those who are interested in the improvement of this indicator.

Move the value of x, + 200 each indicator, and also changes the number of indicator.

John Edwards........................great technical analysis and information. I hope everyone on this thread is digesting your comments and applying your suggestions.

Paradoxical,

If you refer to the BUY-SELL signals on FF's indicator..... which are not in agreement..... That is right.... However you must not forget that these readings are showing results on a completely different moment..... The chart has been saved and uploaded to the forumpage at a much later moment.

Otherwise I don't understand what you mean.....Or do you want me to upload a screenshot of that SELL moment on H4,H1 and M5 charts together in one picture? Would that better help your understanding? Even than however you won't see the readings on FF's indicator at that SELL moment, for I use the current version so readings are refreshed all the time.

Goodness Gracious!
I cant believe so many changes on the simple system.If we all believe FerruFX is one of the best programmer, why are we still trying to constantly mess with it and ask for more and more changes.

I have been faithfully following ,like I mentioned many times in the past,
v1.04 and trading as recommened by that Indicator (reverse when said) on 4 hr chart.I dont take trades every 4 hr since I have to sleep during european session.

Inspite of that my hit rate had been 80-90% positive.

Hi Paris,

yes i am using the latest one

will my strategy is taking all suggestion made by the indicator the other way around if it say sell i buy if it says buy i sell am using AFB metatrader same timing of metatrader and al trade and for the past day it gave me around 2000 pips +

Keep up faithfully following the system and posting your results here... both the good and the bad.... that way you show the emphasis for the "Keeping it Simple" while letting the others discover thur trial and error that "Keeping it Simple" is really the best way to go....
