please look at all the trade pictures I have put up... cci 34 needs to cross the 0 line and go in the direction of the cci 170 you exit when cci 34 crosses into the other direction

Hi DC and fellow FX Prime followers,

I don't normally try other people's trading systems (I find that it is easier for me to follow my own rules), but for some reason or another this peaked my interest.

Here is a trade I took this morning using this system, along with a little PA for support.

Happy trading everyone, and thanks to DC and others for their generosity.

Canadian Dud, i think he hasn't attached the Bollinger Squeeze x2, he is not using the Wcci indi.

Artov - attach another bollinger squeeze indi and set that to 170

I took my 4th trade and now I waited for the CCI 34 to cross in the direction of the CCI 170 but got kicked out with -13.

Might be my fault but I would appreciate opinions.

Your candles are confusing me, they show up when they are suppose to be down and visa versa (LOL -mine is the otherway around). Can you zoom your chart in a bit ( i mean out, make it smaller), and post it again... or if someone else can tell from it, pls assist.

CD will better be able to answer your question, but to me it looks like a failed signal. Core CPI is comeing out in 15 minutes, so price is most likely consolidating before the announcement. I would sit on the sidelines until after the news comes out.

took last long signal +50 long. 1.3460 exit cci 34 cross.
Artov that is not a signal, t3 is exactly in the middle of 45 and 55

HI CD, Could you please confirm what are the settings on T3 rsi are i.e

the RSI period 14 and T 3 period 14

or is the RSI period 14 and T3 period 8

or is the RSI period 8 and T3 period 8

Which of these is right.

after another look, your cci 170 crossed the 0 line long time ago, it looks like you tried a re-entry on an older signal. When your cci 34 crossed down 0, that was the exit signal for the buy signal a couple of minutes before.

Art, I would say thats a valid signal, and watching it live I probably would've taken it. it was just one of those 20% (approx!) losers.

I don't get why you guys think that was a valid short signal.

I thought the rules said for a short trade the cci 170 has to be below the 0 line with the cci 34 crossing down over the 0 line. Looking at the chart you posted, the cci 170 was above 100.

So when the cci 170 is above 0 you need to be looking for when the cci34 crosses the 0 line pointing upward. Basically you are looking to enter on a pullback.

Anyway that is how I understood the rules.

Jnita, I don't agree with you. The 170 was still showing a pretty strong long signal and had been for a while, so re-entering after a retracement should be a valid signal, especially seeing as the 170 had been established for a while.

But then I'm not the author. It just goes to show that nothing is mechanical, and everything is discrtionary to a certain degree.

Like you say, preference... i would never re-enter this system, to risky.... but that is my preference.

Ron, I tried your EA and worked fine in the Asian Session. It sent signals alright and took trades. However, I couldn't change the trading times. I usually trade the USA session and it says: Outside Trading times. I tried to change the hours, but it still says the same. Is there a way to let it trade/signal at all times? I will not trade at all times, but just to let the option open.

Also, I set the EA to take 10 pips profit and 10 Stop Loss, but it enters again in the same Trend direction right after it takes the profit. Is there a way to code it that it just takes 1 trade per Trend direction?

Art just to confirm again, that was not a signal, the t3 rsi was in the middle of the 45 and 55, that makes it not part of the system, not entry or re entry or nothing.

Right now a long signal at 1.3521 i am not going to take it with daily and weekly pivot in front of my nose if anyone takes it try to get pips when one of them gets hit and watch out the bounce
