i was +100 then for some reason i counldnt get out of the trade and made for some reason got out at +3 profit..

got long from 172(my previous short target from 17570 )
I play yellow channel, short only below LTL or near UTL

Imho it will be either double bottom (as it was mentioned at previous page) with ~165-167 lows or trend continuation with target at 147-149 area.
Almost no positive signs around and market looks to be nonbeliever in government (g7 coordinated as well as local actions) policy.

been dealing with some private issues which also affect my decision abilites since i am 101% discretionary non mechanical
that's why i haven't posted that much yet.

i am mainly daytrading what price & vol tells me on lower timeframes so i am pretty much not interested in swing trades and don't care about long time targets which fall into the class of prediction.

currently i still see gj beeing pretty weak, like everything which we can trade..lol. so it is called short the retracements...

since 6 hours every 60m bar has a lower close except the current one, but it has 10m left to form and looks pretty weak yet with high vol.

but now there's just some gangfight taking place with whipsawing, no entry for me yet.

breaking of 174.30 till DP for upside / 170.50 for downside.

nevertheless, i currently see the path of least resistance to the downside.

Waiting for breakout of flag or internal trendline, I believe gbp/yen is similar... ah well, back to bed

we have seen yesterday the confirmation of tuesday shooting star,
this means, the downtrend is confirmend. You are pissing against the wind,
but it is OK, if you make your green pips.

I think it will start to fall, like yesterday, in the middle of US session.

does anybody have a good source to learn chart patterns?
I recommend you read something else as this sentence is now concluded.

I know I dont know much ..but I bet anything the no candle closes below 100 (for UJ) today. So the way I look at it the only way is to go long or not trade.

agree breakout to downside is more likely
I will be cautious and will short when i see big momentum
For now i see 175 maybe

Just google chart patterns or trading chart patterns and you will find a bunch of sites that teach them for free.

I'm not sure how you see any strength in all this weakness .. but you usually know what you're doing so I will be ready to close my short at any moment

oil is at 72$ a barrel atm. it should be heading back to 87 for a retest of that level. i'm not sure how's that going to affect anything, but i went ahead for a long at 72. what do u think malcomb?
