Well... another gap up over this W/E - not really looking good to go long now is it, I don't have much faith in the market turning around to start going up for the long haul either. At least not yet.

Let's wait and see how things pan out, I'll post a trade when I get into one.

Alright

The market has been looking pretty rangy so I've had to take extra measures by using the 1 Hour chart, I don't normally do this and don't like doing this because there is oftenly a fair few more fake outs, but the stop losses are usually always a lot tighter as well.

I've put 2 x 0.5 Lots on NZD/USD for a sell @ 0.6032

One lot has already been closed in profit for +44 pips.

The other has a stop loss equivelant to -44 pips also, so I'm going to let this one run, if it hits my stop loss then I've lost my profit but I am break even. So.. shall wait and see if it's worth the trade off or not. I think it will be, but that's just me.

Okay, I've closed out my Eur/Usd trade prematurely because I have reason to suggest that this might be a reversal point. We will wait and see, either way I closed both my lots one at 10 pips and the other at 5

My Nzd/Usd is still going, I will let that run

G/J has shown some strength to go up from what I can see, it's broken a trend line and a 100% Fibo line.

Price has broken past the 100% Fib so I will be waiting for a retracement from the upside to the 50% (will redraw fib) and will start looking for a good place to get in for a long entry. Hopefully then we will be looking for some higher high's

Before the London openening I put orders on to go long, but I wanted confirmation first... I should have left them on.

everything has broken the 100% Fibo on short trades.

Because the market has been so fierce there hasn't been much of a retracement and I don't think there will be, so I have to 'zoom' into the action further (change to lower TF) to catch a retracement at an acceptable level and get in on the long trades.

Retracements are happening as I speak, so will should be on a few long trades in a few hours hopefully

I've had a few hiccups today and got out of the wrong side of the bed

I placed a bunch of trades on to go long and they all got stopped out, they will be updated in my report.

Anyhow, due to my mistakes I am still in profit from last week, but have around about 200 or something pips to cover this week plus anything on top would be nice.

I have been re-analyzing my charts and have come to the conlusion that based on Supply and Demand physcology - this wouldn't be too bad a place to get in for a short, will wait and see how it plays out

Would be very nice if it breaks the lower trend line, then I can be fairly sure that it's going to be a big move down south again

Have a bit of a scenario going on here

If price breaks the 100% we could be looking at a reversal and then wait for a retracement then start going long again.

Or... it will bounce off the 50% Fibo and continue on downwards, it broke the trend line though, so we will have to wait and see

Could also be a good place to add another contract to go short

Back in to go long again @ 1.3598 - see if it holds out, if not and it's just a retracement I will resume the sell position again, not sure where yet.

On the sell I made 100 pips on my first lot

Then on the second lot I made 126 pips

I am also doing the same with Gbp/Jpy and Aud/Usd.

The charts are the same pair, same setup just different time frames, so that you can see the bigger picture of what I'm trying to do

For a loss of 63 pips on E/U

Trading against the major trend is not a good idea, my mistake.

Okay, it's a turn around by the looks of it, I got in at the top to go short (hopefully that's what it is)

I got 57 pips on the trade going up just before.
