Any ticker tape reader ?

Nowadays we have a number of charts and indicators that helps us trading. Until today I can't imagine people trading merely reading the price on ticker tape long time ago. Anyone here trading that way ? How can someone, (usually stock traders) trade using the ticker tape ? Is this technique useful in forex ?

the "tape" also shows the volume that went off at the printed price, but unfortunately that sort of data is hard to get your hands on in forex due to the decentralized nature of the market. i do watch the tape when trading stocks and futures, however.

the bid and ask tell what might happen, the tape tells you what did happen.

Yes, It is useful in ForEx or any other market... Price action and pivot points such as pricelines, dailly high/low, S/R will help... Better than any indicators; if you can master the style... You need a lot of screen time (Candle color or Rainbow or CCI will provide conceptual roadmap to vlidate the price action)
