But if I short just now, may have already banked 50 pips .. lol..

Such a bearish div on 5 min chart. Hard to resist not to short ..

IMO, GJ may go higher if today's daily candle closes above gann and qqe crosses up.

Edit: I would buy more positions on the dips.

gbp/jpy daily gann resistance, but ultimately I expect price to reach the 50 fib.

Now if we use these fibo zones , if we are truly going up a retrace shouldn't pass fib zone .987. Also If you notice all the 4hr candlesticks seem to retrace to their 5-sma high/ close. So a retracement should be in order.

to catch 100 pips in 400 pip uptrend that will likely end at about 181 / 184 tonight

I am a scalper and happy to trade both sides ... but not silly. I know when the trend is very strong and when to trade both sides and when not to

I am happier to take the long off 179 for a quick 50 pip

Ah yes...what a very strong trend. But...is she going to rejoin the long term trend or is the carry trade coming back? I am curious to know if you more experienced folks consider this a retracement and the guppy will possibly head back down to test those lows after 184 or so...

I think buying frenzy has subsided for now. Those big boys probably taking a break and sit back, realizing they may have gone too much .. now, take profit time ..

nope. more to go up: 180.56/183.39. just lock some profits and let it run.

Geppy is still in the 5th wave down started @ ar'd 216. If you take a look at the weekly chart one can see 3 waves completed and the 4th being the one we're in at present which should complete ar'd 182-186. . . Then GJ should continue downward to complete the 5th wave ar'd 148-149 before we see an ABC correction to perhaps 201.50 area within the next few month (XMAS rally). . .

Also, look at the monthly chart which suggest that the bottom of this downtrend has not been reached just yet. Would be very careful with longs especially in a market full of fear. . .

these lower fib zones are weak considering the accelerated drop last week, and they are not S/R by themselves just averages, fib retracement lines are actual S/R, I see the first serious resistance at 185-186, that's where the 23.6 from 251 sits, and also the 61.8 from 215;

and here's just a simple math:
the Dow has gained since Friday 936 points, or about 12% increase since the record low volume registered last week;

12% X 166 (guppy's low last week)= 19.92, or a whopping 1992 pips;

166+19.92=185.92(surprise)

that's where we should be by now, already;

the retrace to one of the lower fibs..of course is due,
but probably tomorrow or in the coming days, rather than tonight.

do you draw the fibzones or is there an MT4 indicator? Could not find one so far.
