http://www.forexfactory.com/images/icons/icon14.gif for your system so far, it looks really promising. I'll be testing mainly on the 1hr (Full time Job), but if I have something positive to add I'll let you know.

Hey can anyone build a code that will alert when...

CCI 34 crosses 0
CCI 120 Or 170 is on the same side
And RSI OVER AND UNDER 45-55

Can an alert and arrow be created??

This would be awesome

Thanks
Roger

Also, alert option should include sound or email or both

Does anyone else find that the template crashes their PC? It's extremely slow on the 1-min.

N/M. I solved the problem by reducing the max number of bars in history.

No, everything works fine ... Have you downloaded all indicators from page 1?

Btw: Canadian had to remove the stealth indi. Maybe its still included in the template. But you don't need. Just use the 2 CCIs + RSI + HA.

Ronald R,

I was looking at the code of your EA to see if I could make an indi and found these 2 lines:

if(RSI > 55) RSIDirection = "Long";
if(RSI > 45) RSIDirection = "Short";

Maybe the 2nd one needs to be changed by "RSI < 45"

Just my 2 cents and thanks for your excelent work.

Sure settings for T3 RSI ARE
RSI PERIOD 14
T3 PERIOD 8
T3 cultative 0.618

then go to imputs and add the 55 and 45 levels its all you need really.

Put the t3 to the color of your background you dont need it...

You could just use the regular RSI in metatrade add the rsi to 14 and add the 45-55 levels

Thanks
Roger

A couple things I don't understand.

I see several trades where the entry conditions are met, and then one of the conditions are gone a few bars later.

For example, you get a long signal, but a few bars later the RSI drops below 55. In that situation, why do you not exit the trade? Do you let your stoploss take you out of the trade when it's not in a profit by a certain number of pips?

Also, what about reentries?

I also see situations where the CCI 170 isn't in green/red until several bars after the CCI 34 is green/red. Would you still take that trade?

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

LOOK at the 5 min chart on the right, this is something I recommend to see THE BIG PICTURE see how we are currently in a down trend? dont trade against the trend until a new one forms!
5 min. is not big picture,it was not downtrend,it was sideways market, you can see that even from your 5 minutes chart so entering long there was good but not by the rules of the system exactly (i did not enter there and i regret,it was good R/R trade to target at least 1.3600).
By the way,why do you use cci 170 and 34 ?Why not 158 and 37 or 244 and 43 ? Did you get those numbers by fitting the past ? I am asking this because i was doing this long time ago when testing systems but fitting moving averages and other indicators always need to be adjusted (cci is kind of MA).Maybe if someone could make CCI based on some kind of adaptiv variable, like this i guess we will have to adjust CCI period after some time...

FOR EXIT we only look at cci 34 to take us out thats it nothing else.
No only take trades when both cci 170 and cci 34 in the same colour.

thanks

Anolther major point to look at are the fib levels, pivot points and buying and selling at tops and bottoms... its crucial that you look at that.

Go back to your posts #4 and #22. It looks like you got out before the CCI crossed 0.

Your right I took it out because it made higher highs or lower lows but even just using the cci exit you would have gained ALOT of [email protected]
