I think the problem is with your DDE. You have to turn off the DDE of other platform only the IBFX and if you are enabling the DDE in an "m" it wont work too. You have to enable the DDE of your ibfx platform that is std account. that probably will work. Try it

I did use the script in FXpro and then establish the files and the spreadsheets. Now i am just doing the manual once a week thing put the open price and thats it. the file that i have attached before that is the file just manually put the open price fo the week on sheet by adding a row and manually netering the week open price.

Yes that why i normally left my trade in there are long as there is no shaking of the market, it will just continue to gain pais week after week. Look at the total isnt it growing every week. It is very profittable and less stress trading.

eventually doesnt mean months i mean days the most. I close the trade if i find fault in my analysis that i could identify as early as 4 hoours later. There is always 2 direction in a trade the 20% comes from the wrong direction chosen.

So a mental SL based roughly on this question: "Is the trade going against me and is it becoming obvious that my analysis for this trade was incorrect?"

A little dangerous for the undisciplined trader. However, seems like you don't have a problem with sticking to your trading plan. Those lacking discipline might want to shy away from this scenario.

Think of this thread as a science class, on your first day your not let lose with all the volatile liquids, you start with a bottle of water and your facinated with the gas burner and the movment of the fluid, you watch in amazment as it changes from one state to another, after a while you start to understand a little and can start to experiment in the safe enviroment of the lab (Demo account), some will become OK some will be GOOD and some will EXCELL - this is us now all of us, some will only trade the IA 14pairs because they are easier to see and other will excell and just see it the way it is. a $50,000 demo account is a very safe place to blow things up - have some fund with it.

T101, Thank you for the explanation of jumping pairs (Tandem). I have a question for managing the profit, do you put EA (2Protectaccount) as soon as you open the trades? or do you put EA until the trades turn to profit? Thank you

Now this morning look at the Oanda Account..Did we got this right?? I am not saying that you will get these results all the time but the percentage of you being right is extremely high, above 80% probability. I hope that this jumping pairs explanation could eliminate some doubts and nagging questions in your mind. Do not ask me about the other currencies because with this technique I normally just trade 2 or 4 sometimes 5 pairs depending of how strong the correlation is. The extreme currencies are pretty solid in their spot already no need to disturb them. Please study this and you may find more setup like this and remember this is not cast in stone that it is like this al the time. Let that grey matter work sometimes, its just common sense. Thanks

The 2protectaccount not only locked your profit but also protect you from to much loses. If you are babysetting your trade this EA is not required but if you are leaving your trade it is important that it is on all the time. Also It guards your account for sudden spike that we dont know broker might throw once in a while.

Please check out the latest changes to my IA Monitor program. It is an external to MT4 windows program, which takes its data from MT4 by an indicator that exports history/quotes.

I have been slowly adding functionality. The Original Pairs version now has custom audio alerts. The IBFX version will be updated soon to include audio alerts.

I have been contemplating a multiple timeframe version, but it is going to take quite a bit of real estate on your screen. I think my solution will be to make it an optional window which you can turn on and off at will.

Please download from here and make suggestions comments there, not on this thread. Thanks Julius for your ground breaking T101 methodology.

I see the prices you traded the pairs is not for Oct 6.actually they are mostly around Oct 10.

So I am wondering were you waiting for moving Anchor pair(gbp/chf) to one level below?

Yes you are right Mike those thread were done on the night of the 9th. I was really hoping that wheni screencapture the excel and wa praying very hard that my Oanda trade should follow the analysis in the excel, because i wasn intending to give a lesson on Friday. Fortunately it did. So the lesson was done using all those visual aid. The waiting of anchor pairs to be dislodge is a very profittable setup but it takes a long time to wait. In fact i am waiting for that set up also to make a new lesson on that. So at that situation the jump pairs set up happeend so is just capture it and then teach it. If you look at the that was agreesive anticipation tha at that time the GBPCHF is the anchor however it is being weaken for the ff reason.

a) Other Columns have GC in the lower slot. so it follows that it is about to move down so i take advantage of such. AS a trader wehave some system but common sense sometimes prevails becuse of experience. It is like going off road even if there is a road because we know we cuold reach there earlier. The danger for unfamiliar is it might led to disaster. so just follow the road by dont blame some to go offroad. They have a sense of adventure and is willing to risk to know something. Trading is about taking risk.

It took me very long to go through all the previous/present threads/posts. I am still trying very hard to understand everything fully. May be by asking some idiot question will help my understanding some how.

I put my question in the following picture. May be because I already too old to monitor and trade so many pairs. Since the Anchor pair is the most important, it should be the pair that give highest probability and generate the most profit, am I right? I don't mind leaving the rest of money on table

Base on your illustration, you dont have to wait for the GBPUSD to reach the middle part of trade if the position of GbpUsd will be occupied by any green pairs this is the dislodging of anchor.and that is a signal to us the the anchor is now ready to go down,. In your illustration showing the GU at the middle part, is not a good time to trade the GU since if GU is in that position it move will be 50-50 to go down or go up. Unlike the dislodging it has only one move that is going down.

OK. now I understand that last sentence is not equivalent to say the Anchor pair move to the middle. The red conditions below are more than sufficient for the signal.

Is it better to trade 14 lots all on the dislodge Anchor pairs, insteads of all other pairs, ie. if Anchor GBPUSD dislodge then 14 lots GBPUSD?

In this setup GU and UC are the anchor pairs.
1.When UC jumps up and switches places with GJ, this is an indication of trend reversal.
2.When GU jumps below EG this is another indication of trend reversal.

3.When both 1 and 2 jump its an even better indication of trend reversal.

4. Since the sells are on top and the buys are on bottom, the trend will be leaning toward the LONG direction when entereing all pairs.

The example that you show. The safe LONG trade is when UChf reaches the
bottom Achor OR teh CadJpy reached the top anchor.

It is very well explained in your last post with the quote. You seem to be confused with trading 14 pairs all at once. I'll send you a pm maybe I find a way to explain it to you.

I summarise in below picture what I understand from your pm, hope that it is right now for trading all pairs.
