llimoe, karmo, and all the gurus here...one question (i am a newby) ..it is correct to open a short position now waiting for everyone expected levels of 165? How much should be the stop loss in order to ressist ol the volatility until tp is reached? (in a demo i had no stop loss and it has been working great) but in my life account, if i would have opened a position the moment you guys anounced the probable target, using a stop loss of 250 pips (that i normally use) i would have already been stopped out.

Hi Malcolm. Re GBP/AUD. 1H trend is up but smaller time frames are looking down. Do you think we will get a great run up again tonight?

open a 0.5% position with no SL, try to maximize on pips earned not on margin used.

and go with the main 4 hour trend, not the stupid 5 min swings.

this is what i always do, and this is the very reason for my success.

always 0.5% not even 1%.

the best thing to do in a market as such on friday is to stay out and wait for a better "clearer" opportunity next week

sorry, not trying to pull u off but it's best to do things that way. we're almost done for the day 2-3 hours left for the market. there might be surprising gaps next week that would swallow up lots of trades. so be careful.

your stop loss should be considered on how much u're willing to risk on a particular trade. that loss should be over a level (if u're short), that might trigger a reversal further from your initial target. and based on that is the size and stop of your trade.

for example. if make a short trade at a good S/R level, with a TP is 200 pips, and the next S/R level is a 100 pips away, then ur stop should be 120 pips and thus determining the size of your trade. and if u're following good MM (say 2%) then you should consider a size that makes 120 pips loss 2% of your account.

actually, i didn't make an ym trades today since i thought there might be some intervention scenarios, i'm regretting it

i was going for oil shorts today, 3 shorts, 1 at 80 pip loss and 2 at 200 pips each
