who is winner in the market?

Dear friends:
I have several confustion. there must be millions of milions people in the forex market. but how many people will make money. and how did the broker pay the winner money. i am really confused.

Good question. After a lot of trading years I came to the conclusion that it is NOT possible to make money over the long run in the forex market. This is because of the high risk involved. Short term it is possible however. If it really would be possible to make money on the long run, EVERYONE would do it. Always remember that if you want to make a lot of money, you also have to take a lot of risk. Its impossible to make big money with small risks.

To answer your question, the winners are the major banks and brokers.

Firstly, if brokers are bucketshops, it is already a known fact (through statistics) that 95% of all traders lose money either shortterm, medium term, and even long term. Brokers are winners here.

Secondly, if brokers are legit, then they earn through spread and commissions. Brokers are winners again.

There are however, "willing losers" (though indirectly in forex). Some multinationals, individuals who simply want/need to convert their money to another form (either to pay off debt/loans, or for travel use). I said indirectly because, this monies are exchanged in retail banks and eventually find its way into the interbank market.
