Don't forget, you can open as many instances of this software as you want (memory limitation of course). Choose different reference dates for the different instances and compare.

So, you don't want the bias to be near 0. if it is then the buying and selling pressure are equal. Maybe we want the bias to be above or below a certain number to ensure the strength is moving in a certain direction.

Just thinking out loud...

well i actually dont see the bias carefully
but i just watch the pairs up and down movement
i think this is the basic of this system
and i follow it

Hi Netwise,

Just trying to understand why you went long au when it is a sell and was showing profit. I can understand the other two.

had GJ and GC just moved to those positions. trying to work out at what stage it is safe to trade a pair if its been in anchor for a while!

Thanks
Pardy

Trader101 says the basic is trading all 14 pairs... So that is what I am looking at... what is the market direction and when should one enter.

Carl,

Thanks for this software and also the suggestion that we can us multiple instances.

Is it possible to have an instance that runs off the 4 hour insteadof just the daily?

Right now, the reference date is the daily open. Everything else is based on the real-time quote. I would consider expanding the reference date to choose a specific time, but I'm not sure that is necessary. I'll put it on my list.

Thanks for the feedback.

Nice, not much else to say. I'll be looking forward to the version for the original 14 pairs as well. Are you going to make one?

New version. I was getting tired of those anchor positions changing back and forth in the log. Lets see if that will filter most of those. They have to differ (eventually) to more than 5 pips for the new anchor to show up in the log.

Hey Carl

Compliments again 4 this great work.

I read in some post that maybe u could implement the option of Hourly variations and not only - lik it is now - day per day-

In my opinion it would be great!

Crodzilla,
Great trading tool--thanks for developing it. I'm still figuring out the subtleties of the Trader 101 trading method so take my suggestions with a grain of salt.

Could some adjustments on the graphics aid the trader in seeing a clear trade signal? For example if anchor pairs are set for a previous period could they be given a darker red or green so at a glance they contrast with other pairs and one could easier see their movement in the ranking? If I understand Trader101's trade signals the movement of these are significant as they move towards the opposite end of the list.

A second visual cue might be for secondary shorter trades of single pairs. I find it gets confusing to track the movement of same color pairs as they jump up and down in ranking. Perhaps a pair could be highlighted if it's moved more more than two slots and has stayed there for a certain period of time? If a set of conditions is met the pair to be traded could be listed on the right with a Buy or Sell next to them with price at time of notice.

Well, just some brainstorming. Others might have a better idea of key trade triggers that could be highlighted by visual graphics.

Thanks again for your work.

Post of latest T101 external to MT4 windows program.

Go back to my post from the T101 thread here: T101 Thread

Based on the 14 IBFX pairs designated by T101 here:http://www.forexfactory.com/showpost...3&postcount=51

1. The pairs are the 14 IBFX pairs designated by T101. You must have those available.
2. Put the indicator in the /indicators directory.
3. Start your Metatrader.
4. Attach indicator to a busy chart. It will create data files in your Metatrader /experts/files directory.
5. Copy the program (.exe) into the /experts/files directory.
6. Run it.
7. Select a reference date.
8. Check the Realtime box.
9. Continue to play. Watch, read more of this thread.
10. Report any problems and get updates to the program here.

***New version 10 as of 9/30/2008 - 1400 EST
-Filters anchor position changing by only logging when pips differ by more than 5 pips.

I'm stuck at step 6, when the program run, the error message display "File opening error" the CCY.csv could not opened. How to fix it?
