carry trades are long term "long-buying" orders. traders who make carry trades aim for both pips and long term interest.

as far as i've known, yen pairs are the most popular for these trades.

carry unwinding = bearish market on daily/weekly/monthly level.

One more question my friend, If this thing gets aproveed today, the general feeling for everyone here at the forum is to go North.

Do we fundamentally KNOW that if the bailout is aproveed we are jumping to the highs or we are just speculating??, if so, can someone ellaborate on this, and why?

I am concerned, because, all day, the EU has been falling bringing down the GU and then our little crepy mounster. Thing is, how sure are we that this is not going to tank to hell, it has been doing so since the oppening.

some indicators are not working properly because of today's gap on IBFX. i have different readings for m5 and m15, and they both have a good bullish divergence on CCI.

nothing's for sure, and i'm not really sure u should be asking me when it comes to fundies. i only follow my charts, because i believe fundies can change in a matter of hours.

I see QQE indicating bull as well as gann over that TFs, how can I see this bearish continuation.

15m QQE is crossed up but price hasn't been able to close above 15m gann.

5m QQE is already at 50 but price has moved to little and the QQE has crossed upwards way before the 5m candle could close above it's gann.

plus I see a bear flag on the 5m chart.

I knew sorry, I thought I was missing something about how it was going to affect it. I am in the same boat with you, what I see on the charts I will follow, (plus a little advice from the seniors traders here ).

Got it, so, bassically we are seeing a rejection from the price at gann 15m,
QQE crossing up, but since gann has not been able to go below price (bouced), we are specting a continuation south, But if gann closes below, then rev is confirmed right?

after having some good rest this weekend, and after coming back to look at the charts with a fresh mind;

daily/weekly charts are the best to tell what's going on lately. we have clear rejection of the sub 190 areas and a failure to close below them on the weeklies. therefore, i'm concluding 2 scenarios based on the daily charts:

1) retrace back to 191 area and jumping back up for a good rally that SHOULD reach at least a 50% fibo if not 61.8 of the move down from 215 to 184. i say we should head to the 191 area, because GU is suggesting a bearishness.

2) rally with no retrace to the above fib levels, where UJ is the major player. we should see GU stalling on daily level.

as i mentioned before last week. last week's ranging period HAD to and DID end with a false breakout (which was downwards). i did trade against the breakout on friday's daily s3. this breakout will be confirmed "false" if 197 is taken out. otherwise, and JUST in case, i'm going to start picking tops around 197. if 197 is taken out, then no more longs for me. i'll wait for 200 and 203-204 to start picking tops again. at least that's the plan, for some reason, i don't think i'll be getting the luxery of an easy classic ranging/breakout setup.

i would like to add another important note. if we DONT get a good rally today/tomorrow, then i'll switch to bearish bias on my first m30 signal.

longer term is still in favour of 187.54, subject to break of that support, but shorter term of 30 min favours a retrace, so lets so how long the support holds there.
