How do you guys setup the breakout?

Right now, I am long with a SL at 194.85 as well as an order to go short at 194.85. Do you guys prefer this method or do you wait for a retracement after the breakout? Because this things tends to move so fast, I hate to wait for the retracement. However, I was also burned the other day when she "broke out" to 197.30. My orders to go long were hit but it was a false breakout.

How do you enter the breakout?

i trade using 4hr chart, i wait when the breakout candle closes and needs to still close above breakout price.......same thing when im trading ranges and s&r bounce......

I wait for a good retracement .. and I know sometimes she just takes off, so I also go to lower timeframe charts like 15 or 5' looking for any signs of slowdown or pause or hopefully a retracement.

Bearish Div. at M10 and M15, but looks bearish IMO

No sign of life so far, except this bullish div on 15 min. Interesting to see how Europe and London open. I would vote for down after a slight retracement

looking at the one hour it looks over sold as well stochs turning up qqe might start to move up depending on off course on price movement i might take a long with a tight stop loss tough call though

3) price under the 14 and 33 sma

looks bearish 60 min to me
