Very impressive indeed. As I see I have a way to go The system I have if tested for 2008 gives 85% profit - a drop in the ocean in comparison with yours. I am pretty curious what is the max drawdown of yours?

hmmmm.... 75% in the 2006 backtest was the worst over the previous 8 years... .... the end of year return was 1000% (in other words, the account made a 4000% return after the drawdown)

but... my philosophy is different than most..... i do not try to contain drawdown.... i figure the money is in the account to be won and lost.... otherwise it should be in other investments.

your 85% is phenomenal..... and it appears to be steady growth.... not choppy like my graph....

my goal is to compound the dog sh#t out of the account as quickly as possible. that's it. nothing more, nothing less. in order to do so, large risk must be taken.

I also had a version of the EA which was making like 300-500% but was eventually loosing the whole account 2-3 times over the 8 years period. I wasn't sure which one is better just risk everything and withdraw regularly or withdraw very rare and don't risk much. Still not sure which way is better.

You know lately I started thinking on the subject everyone says all the money you put in forex you have to be prepared to lose. I think just having this thought on your mind makes you lose them easier. May be not valid for all people but I guess true in a way. The more you don't care the more you trade like a demo account - not afraid to make experiments.

where is the system? what is the rules?
even it's not perfect or still modify..you can post your system..
maybe we can improve it together...

if you don't show us the rules..maybe this thread can moved to trading journals...
