My GBP/JPY EA

Hello All this is my first post on FF after reading and using FF for past 12 months i thought it is about time i add my 10 cent.

I would like to say first i found lots of great information here at FF and it has helped me make my system in to an EA with no programing skills and just sections on FF from others who have given information on how to make an EA so thank you.

I now have got my EA returning me 1-2% daily for the past 6 months or so just trading the GBP/JPY using a very small % of my account in fact less than 1% as the lot size.

I will post some results on this new thread for others to follow how its going and if there are others out there who are trying to build an EA if i can help let me know im sort of an expert now hee hee....not

Well just remembered why i posted i seen so many posts saying EA do not work or my EA makes 100% a week ect ect... i just had to come on and give my experience and to say that EA can work, EA will not make 100% a week/month but if you get it right 100-220% a year can be done using EA i have the live proof

I am getting close to writing my hundredth ea and many times I have felt like giving up as I thought it was mission impossible. So I will keep trying.

I realise you may not wish to share but would you mind sharing the basic idea behind your ea?

I like you at times thought this could not be done and give up many times but i just could not stop, the way i thought is i know the way i trade made pips every day but i did not know how to make it in to an EA. This is what i needed to learn my system is very simple i use the same settings/indicators i use to trade manaul like MA and price and follow a move as long as i can and use hedge instead of stops to cover me when the move changes to other direction.

Your right i do not wish to give up my system in full to others after all i have worked for a very long time to get this far, but i am happy if i can to help others. I use my EA on own live funds and this makes me more than enough to have a nice life, so i am not looking to sell the EA i hope you understand why...would you sell a money tree?

All i know is i got this far simple by trial and error and trusting in my proven manual system the hard part was learning how to make it run as an EA keep going you will get there im sure.

thanks for posting the statement, I look forward to a choppy day to see how you handle the hedge side of things. I have played with hedging individual trades and moving stops to break even for grids but I have always found a market condition that would trip me up.

Have you looked at other currencies at all?

Yes i use on all pairs just g/j in the main.
