a) Okay..Try to get in a quick reply to most of the questions. No, I went from $1000 to $19,000 since January 01, 2007 on my live account with this program.

b) The TakeProfit/StopLosses are set at 1000 to negate them. Basically, the program opens and closes it's positions on the crosses that it makes. I put in the TP/SL and trailing versions of them in the code, to optimize and test them. But after all the tests, it always made more money just letting it decide when to close the results. But again, they are there, so if people want to test it, they have the option to stick in numbers without having to request "more" code from me. :-P

d) The Zerolag that is used which this code, is one the very first post I put up. All you need to do is put that zerolag file in your experts/indicators directory, then restart your Metatrader software. Easy as that.

e) The script is not an editable format, which is why you get jibberish if you try to open it up. I did not release the source code of it, so that I could have direct control over it and not be tamper with/reuploaded/etc. Again, like the indicator, you just have to put the file in your experts directory, restart your Metatrader software, and it will be in yuour ExpertAdvisor list to be used in real trading or backtesting. Again, it is not locked out, so the different options can be changed, and everything is very well labeled, I believe. Basically if one of the options says, "0to3" it means only the numbers 0,1,2,3 will do anything.

f) At this time, I am not going to release the source code, because of reasons stated in the previous paragraph. There are no plans to ever sell this or anything like that, I just want to be able to keep control of it. I remember the days of Phoenix, when he was uploading his source and asked no one to post altered versions of it, and it kept happening over and over again.

I think I've seen on some EAs one of the variables being 'Account Is Mini'. Then you select either true or false. This would allow the user to select either a standard account or a mini account and choose the lots accordingly. With a mini account, one can trade mini lots, micro lots or nano lots with Interbank.

I know what you mean, I believe Phoenix actually had a thing like that. Just and on/off button for if it is mini, micro, etc. I will have to dig up his stuff and see exactly what he did to make that work.

Again, a few people have asked. The code that was uploaded was meant to be tested on FXDD. I only have about 2 months worth of "real" data for FXDD, and optimized the best I could for those 2 months. The objective of this forum was intitially set to have people either backtest/livetest that code on FXDD to see if it worked for more than those 2 months and forward (because I am wanting to leave InterbankFX).

Probably about 7pm, Central Time, when I can get back to my house, I will upload a few different versions. I will put up the original IBFX version that was used for my live-test/back-test results. And I will try to find an easier way to allow people to do mini/micros without having to change the code for each one. Okay, I will be gone for the next 5-6 hours. Enjoy.

the EA only worked when I had an intial deposit of about 50,000 ? It kept opening 50 lots each time.

There is a mystery about this EA.
It works very well on most latest months starting from Oct-Nov, 2006.
But when I ran it from Jan.06 to Nov.06 or any other period earlier. It lost about 70% of its value. It also doesn't normalize it'sa lot calculation, so most combinations return invalid lot when sending order. Lot has to be normalized according to minlot and lotstep in marketinfo.
I've seen other EAs that have been optimized to death but not to the extent to loze all the money on any other period. They usually just don't do so great.
I my opinion optimization with two dozen variables on a short period is almost the same as just going back and picking best spot to buy and sell. I am not sure this EA will work going forward.

Well im planning to run it for a month on demo account, if it does well i think im gonna use it in live trading but without increasing lot size like this EA does or at least not to the same extent.
