You are saying that investment banks want to go bankrupt??
The loans were written 2-5 years ago. The debt was sliced and diced and turned into CDO's and sold. The foreclosures started after all the exotic loans reset at higher payments that the average Joe couldn't pay. The reason investment banks are now in trouble is because they have to keep reducing the amount they can value them at. They are now distressed to around 10% of face value or so. You have been listening to way too much Alex Jones conspiracy theory hogwash my man...Ignored
