Did exactly the same thing...NOT cool. I said if I get spanked I'd want compensation, which they have done in the past...STILL can't get in

Is G/J going up or down?
i don't know why some traders are a dialectic discussion about a uptrend for GBPYEN .
but if we look to weekly candle chart GJ , we can see cover long lower wick of false hammer by a long red candlestick . we can not see a confirmation for a uptrend for this pair in this time
you must have weekly close......tehn...

if you wait for the weekly candle to get a confirmation for this pair, better forget about it, that's almost...philosophical.

this is very volatile market these days moved by speculation, look for breakouts and trade what brings you pips don't wait for the weekly chart.

Wow, I was knocked off forexfactory 3 hours ago, have only just been able to get the page up now. From the looks of it, everyone else did not have that problem. On the other hand, FX Solutions has been stable while Oanda apparently was knocked out. Somethin in the air?

So I missed the part where everyone turned bullish, but now it seems people are back bearish again.

It might be helpful when people say they expect GY to go to 186 or 196 to also mention the timeframe you are trading.

You & I were expressing the same thought Some people trade off the weekly or even monthly charts, hold positions for weeks and do not mind drawdowns of hundreds of pips .. they are after the 2000+ pip moves.
Others grab the 100-200 pips the GY can give the astute trader every day ...
and others are somewhere inbetween.

Oanda's down and my $10 a pip scalp is getting wasted, there's NOTHING I can do, aarrrrrrrgggghhhhh

FF was down for me for several hours earlier on as well. Firefox kept giving me this "Database error" page.
and Oanda's really pissing me off now.

yes there are some traders who try to catch up those 100 - 300 pips from scalping in lower tf,but i think to know main trend is giving us better advantage even for scalping as trend is your friend, i thankful for husin naiji's opinion.

by the time the weekly trend changes, you would have traded against the trend that's changing all the way, that's my point;

I am seeing higher lows on any recent timeframe, but you are seeing the weekly trend down; the trend is changing, but you don't notice, this is like the Chinese water torture, will kill you before you can know
