On another note, YES it is possible to capture 1000 pips in a month, it is even possible to capture it in a week, one way is to increase your lot size.

Firstly, it' just a name to draw attention and unite people. Who cares what it's called as long as it does not offend anyone. I assume that you are not a shareholder in all the brokerage firms. Also, regardless of how good any strategy is, or much it's published, some people will loose due to other factors such as a lack of money management and discipline. Respectfully, I don't think that the name needs to be changed. However, to clarify I do NOT run an accredited university, not am I licensed to teach anyone about trading.

I manage myself in pips. The more pips I make, the more money I make. Simple.

Welcome to the thread, I think the question has been answered but I'll give you an example...

Say if GBPUSD is trading at 1.7662 and you went long at this level at £1 per pip/point. If the price then moved to 1.7672 you would be 10 pips up. so 10 pips x £1= £10 profit.

Lol, I have to confess that I don't really understand what's the big difference about people recently arguing about this.Are you saying that there are negative pips as well? Because if you don't, profit in pips and profit expressed in percents mean mostly the same thing. It's just that everyone has a preference towards one, it doesn't mean the other is incorrectly used.

As I said, this is just the way I do things. I don't think it's too much to ask, if somebody wants something from me. I can assure you that the templates and indicators are absolutely 100% free. The strategy I use is not magnificent, it just works for me and probably not suit everyone.

As for using the contacts for spamming.. I will not be using any information for marketing purposes. Importantly, I'm here to share ideas, learn new things and meet new people.

One can review their progress by pips per period or as a percenatge. I use both.

perhaps your TPs and SLs give you a "sleight of hand," as hanover says. But from where I'm sitting, I'm not impressed to this point.



And I am very unhappy with the name of this thread. Your self congratulatory nature without any proof of results make this almost laughable. Let's take it one step further.... suppose you trade with an ECN.... are you still trying to BEAT THE BROKER. It's ridiculous.

Although I appreciate people to choose to have different templates for different pairs, I do not. When I say beat the broker, I mean have a profitable account and not give money to them (overall). I'm not prepared to spend time discussing the name of the thread.

The discussions about pips seem to be taking over here!

Personally I use pips as a measure of success rather than cash. I increase my trading size each day (as long as the prior day was profitable) as I risk 3% of my "pot" on each trade. As the pot increases so does the stake.

If I make 500 pips this week then I may well earn more in profits than I did from 600 pips the previous week, but I would regard it as a less successful week.

Anyway, I look forward to learning more about the method

broker makes money from spread (at least real ones do) ... how can u beat the broker , only person u get to beat here is the other trader taking equal and opposite direction as ur position ... from then onwards its about pocket depth and strategy ... between u n him ...

Hermes, Glad to hav u here. Now if I were you, I would be submitting posts about my system rather than empty responses to cynics/sympathisers alike. Please stop the rhetoric and get down to bizniz. That's the way to clear yourself and others of misgivings. Thus far, the hottest discussion has been about the definition and relationship between pip and profit - none of the former is going to earn either of the latter. To Exemplify... There was a guy by the name of Peter Crowns who established the Daily Inside Bar Setup (DIBS) method. I don't use DIBS because it's too arbitrary for my taste and indeed hold some reservations regarding its tendency to over-simplify subjective judgment. NEVERTHELESS, PC is respected and his method thrives in this FF and beyond because it has been substantiated with logic and raw reasoning. That's just one case example. Maybe you can be another?? We're waiting

Welcome, HMS. I've been trading this strategy rather successfully - the only issue, at least for me, is reading the Heiken Ashi candles. Perhaps, when you get into the specifics, I'll be able to get a better understanding. Thanks.

Hello Everyone,

If I would tell someone that I will give you 10 PIPs everytime you are cynical about a system even before it is well introduced I guess I will have a dozen followers.

For the above system, I have used it and from where I learnt it people learn for free because it's a free world.

Reasons H doesn't give out the Templates is because some with no sense of would start having the system on EBAY. I have seen lots of system from FF and TSD on EBAY.

Yes lets give H sometime, I wish to advance my understanding of the system, am still learning.

Good morning everyone,

I'd like to start by talking about Moving Averages (MAs).

When our various MAs are close together, in a relaxed state is what I'm looking for. I want to enter a position on the the breakout of this. This should then align the MAs it the correct numerical order. Lets take the cable 1 hour chart as an example. The same principle applies on a longer/shorter time frame.

Note how throughout July, cable was oscillating within a range. As it broke to the downside the red and blue line (our 4hr 20 & 4hr 50) were setup
for a short at 1.9700. I will discuss the CCI separately, but just using the MAs this could have been held until the break of the red line at 1.8680. A single 1000 pip trade without even using the CCI.

Another example of using the MAs with the powerful 1-2-3 move...

Here we let the initial break happen (1), let it retrace (2) then if it finds support or resistance against a MA, starts to move (3) the entry.

An example of this would be on EURUSD. Top left of the chart is a small range. Price fell through, made a lower low (1), but we don't know if it is a false move as this point. It then retraced back to the 1 hour 20MA (red line) (move 2) and found resistance. On the first red heiken would be the entry (3) at around 1.4480. I actually missed this one, I'll show you the one I took.

On the same chart, the same moved started at the 1.4480 level. As I missed it, I let it run down to 1.4210 (1), then let it retrace to the thick red line/1 hour 20 (2), I placed a trend line, on the break of that at 1.4270 I entered a short with a target of the previous low.

Moving forward, note what happened to the 21 CCI when I entered the trade. It went from positive to negative. We'll discuss this in more detail.

The template you sent out is not the same one your posting in your charts. The template fails to have the colors and lines in your CCI.

Can you post the correct template on this site rather than sending out by emails.

sorry but i can't understand this. This especif combo is in some book? Or are you saiyng that ou trade the same indicators with a little different parameters?
