Lol, I don't understand why they complained about your math though. What you've pointed is very true. Maybe out of their 100,000 traders you're the only one that paid attention and noticed

FXCM micro just fixed their rollover yesterday, it's the correct amount now

I did my first trade live with them last night...losed out this morning for +27 a whopping $2.70 nice thing was my largest drawdown was only like .53 lol.

I'm not sure how I feel about the platform...execution is easy and fast but the charting is a bit counterintuitive.

I think I'll pull my data off my interbank demo and execute the micro live with fxcm...

haha, FXCMs gathering pennies.. lol

Well, my evaluation period is over. I did not choose FXCM. I wanted to relay the reasons.

1. They have too many "clouds on their title" meaning if you look at the filing against them with NFA, well it made me wary.

2. Their relationship, even at arms length, with Refco.

3. I spent alot of time watching several different broker/banks spreads during high volatility periods. Not so impressed.

4. There was no coverage that I found in terms of insurance or otherwise for my account, they tank and I tank.

5. I will say that all the people I dealt with seem like good people at FXCM. But, good people cannot make up for the underlying mechanics of it all. The path to hell is paved with good intentions.

In summary, I opened my 3rd forex account with a bank with insurance on my account. One that offered the sort of liquidity and security to protect my account.

I have noticed a penchant for traders to focus on "price" and the lowest pips. I saw those same low pip claims blown out of the water during any real volatility.

Everyone is different. The best I can reccomend is download 5 of your potential platforms and do some motion capture during peak volatility.

Any programmers out there you would do the community a HUGE and ETERNALLY REMEMBERED service by building an app that would pull data from several platforms to, analyze for tightest spreads when it counts the most, when YOU trade.

Those are just my two cents. I was dissapointed in a way because in the FXCM just turned out to be hyperbole.

Microlot customer are the best for the brokers. Microlots are traded inhouse and 97% of micro-newbees are losing their account and reload it again and lose and reload and lose and ...

Yeah but micro-accounts are good for those people who wanna test a system out.

$10 withdrawl feel if your domestic, but still kinda steep!!

$25 is super steep for an international user...
say..u wanna withdraw 100 buck...25 is gone!!

I have been a customer of fxcm micro from its start of business in the last week of June. At this point, I think that it has its purpose. Using this account, I can iron out all of my bad habits and mistakes at the cost of only .75-1.50 a trade. I have tossed $300 into the account and traded some of my ideas and I love it for the most part.

The only HUGE negative that I have is the charting platform. I can't believe how horrid marketscope is as a platform. I simply load up a demo acct that has mt4 or dealbook 360 and keep trading.

Pros: Easily accessible
relatively low risk
great to use instead of demo trading
low pip spread


Cons: Charting platform

They charge you to withdraw you money.

Thats that funniest thing I heard all week.

before they offer micro they decide to delete my acccount to be 0

not only me but all costomer who has money and canot deal with mini

so they take thier chance to delete any account like mine (before offering micro)

They are not just offering it, they are CHANGING accounts WITHOUT your permission!!

This is wrong, they changed mine to micro although I don't like it.

micro accounts are not available for all countries

Try other brokers to test your system. You can find absolutely reliable broker with $10 min deposit and 0.001 lot ($.10/pip).

P.S and there are no restriction's on customers location and withdrawals.
