Sorry to hear that. I bagged a bunch of pips from usdjpy closed before the rollover hit me. Next news.. UK retail sales . Kiwi seems to still be selling, guess the market expected higher then .7%.

Are you risking your pips made in news trading to trade other strategies? If so, it would not be a good idea. And to be honest I also had quite a few losses in a row at the start of this month. News trading has been tough this month but the CAD announcement and GBP CPI have helped me for small profit so far.

I dont risk my News Trading pips for TA. As far as I am concern, TA is a blackhole. I have learned to stay away from it and should i do want to play TA, I now bet with mini/micro lots to keep losses low; and even with mini/micro lots, the losses still piles up for a fortune.

Its just me; I dont have the luck I wanted since January15 (hey its 1 month now). Either the price is just a pip or two shy of my agressive 30~50pips TP or they move far and wide away from my conservative 15 pips TP. 2006 was better... GO FIGURE!

Damn.. I should post my TP expectation and you all do the opposite! LOL!

I agree with you 100 per cent. TA sucks for me too. I reckon TA trading is like playing poker and showing all your cards to the broker/bank. They know that TA traders will enter/exit at support/resistance or other trendline breaks and that gives them an opportunity for a counter move that even if momentary could wipe you out. Tried TA and gave it up a long time ago.

man, that UK retail sale was an earth shaker, wowwwwwww
-1.8% v 0.2% expected, and moved even +100 pips, fantastic, hope you guys made some pips, and that jpy gdp was Great one also , seems February showing some strength
