it's very possible. i don't normally follow crude. i just glanced at a chart and assumed it was making a correction from the fall off. it's your call.

Whats up Q man glad to see you back in the game. How is everything? hope you settled in your new enviornment. Staying out of GJ bro staying out. Been trading EU and AU mostly been good past two weeks finally getting a good strategy going hopefully it works out.

[00:58 GBP/JPY: Quieter Following To-Do Yesterday Afternoon In Asia] Tokyo,August 22. The "to-do" in GBP/JPY yesterday afternoon was a plunge from above 204 to as low as the 202.00 level. Overnight trading saw the cross down to the 201.75 level before bouncing. Thin conditions exaggerated the move down in late Asian trading yesterday. Conditions remain thin but many Asian players shell- shocked from moves in various JPY pairs yesterday look to be unwilling to trade this pair today. At 203.65/75, the cross is closer to the top of yesterday"s range (the high was 204.62 in Asia). Dealers see this cross holding around current levels barring fresh moves either way in USD/JPY or GBP/USD. GBP/USD usually does not move much in this time zone for obvious reasons. USD/JPY is currently a bit better bid. It was a plunge in this latter pair which triggered the fall in GBP/JPY yesterday. Resistance topside in the cross is seen heavy around 204.00, the site of stops on the way down.

Don't expect too much movement or volume until London open.

Oh and i don't suppose the move up was a bit excessive either? Technically there should be a bounce from that last low, but certainly didn't expect a 100% retrace at that pace. It seems now that risk taking (at least for the GJ) acts faster than risk aversion during mass fear unwinding season.

i don't know about shorts... looks like g-j is driven by g-u, which is going up (well main trend, not right now...). technically, we just had a breakout towards upside, so now i expect a test of 4h 5sma and then up again through 5sma daily to target 5sma weekly/monthly.

p.s. if the current h4 candle closes in this area (about one hour left for me), then qqe will stay crossed up and gann hilo will start below price. i don't think this is a bearish continuation. at least not for now.

Surely wouldn't be thinking long here - weekly charts very bearish, I see 199.60 area in the coming sessions. The clue for lower GJ price was bears took out 202.50 support setting up for a test of 199.65 support. . .

But that's just my own humble opinion. . .

Mate - really not sure how you could make a trendline on a 15 min chart to call for a 700 pip run.

If you want a 500-700pip run you need to look at a bigger time frame. I am attaching a weekly and daily chart with trendlines - there is NO sign of wekness in the down trend - should head to 200 atleast and beyond.

Not only the 15 min,I also posted a Daily chart,
I'm also expecting Dow Jones to rally further,so we should have some up movements only IF I'm right,but no worries,
I'm 50 plus pips either way bull or bear,and if it stays bull I'll be up 700 pips,
and the naysayers will have nada,yada yada yada.It's all a game,keep it pippin'.
Cash money day in and day out that is what this shiett about.

Have to agree, so the pin bar is nice, but they fail hard, you need confirmation i.e. a break of the high to have a confirmation. I'm also counting only 4 waves down. Nevertheless, still short BAISED, not necessarily in a short trade, just waiting on signs of a reversal Whenever it comes.

I think if 204.60 (23.6% fibo) gives then the next target would be 206.40 (38.2% fibo) area. it looks like the price is being rejected @ 204.60 at the moment, but if that area gives and take out 206.40 then i don't see anything stopping her before 209.50 or 210.50, which is in between 78.2 and 61.8 in my chart.

I agree with you that we are in strong bear mode and I also think we would see 200 and beyond, but that doesn't mean we won't have any rally. IMHO.
