i bailed on trade last night and broke even momentum just wasnt there the only other trade that occured last nite was a win with thwe eurjpy but as usual i was sleeping record for the month holds at 5 wins 2 losses

well i was in room for a couple noone except gfc was there and put on a eurjpy trade for a winner record goes to 6 wins 2 losses = 12%

Here is a eur/usd short trade. The target was reached just before the news release. Red vertical line was the entry. Red horizontal line was the target. u say about 24 pips (max).
this include spread or not?
how about if it was 26-27 pips (not include spread), did u still take this trade?

Thats Right From Point 2 To Point 3 With Spread Included Is Not To Be More Than 24 Pips 25 Means A No Trade Remember We Are On 5 Minute Charts So There Has To Be A Cut Off And This Is It

as we begin trading tonite all 3 pairs are in a down trend so look for setups that first have trended up and then formed the 123 pattern it seems the pairs have setup on friday to have trended to upside so we may get 123 pattern early i will be in room about 8 to 830 tonite

Does anyone who trades the original Mint approach use some sort of alarm to alert them to possible trades? A 5/8 MA cross, for example? Can these be set to send SMS messages?

Thank you for having me back. I am beginning to realize your method is easier to learn than anything else I've tried. Jumping around between methods is wasting my time too. Anyway, thanks for all you have done for me in the past. It will now pay off!

My question is concerning the Point#3 pullback of the 123.

Can Point#3 be the quick pullback candle that suddenly switches direction and signals an entry? In other words can the pullback and entry candle be the same candle? Or must we have a closed 5m candle first to establish the pullback?

The overall question is: can 1 candle establish 2 points of a 123?

Looking at your last posted chart the point#3 did not make a new high, it was just a 1 candle pullback so I am assuming that is all that is required to complete a 123 pattern. Does price need to touch both Moving Averages for a pullback?

1. MAKE MONEY-NOT PIPS- who cares if you made 100 pips if its only microlots; its fine to learn using micropips; however, our goal is to learn to make 1 or 2 consistently planned trades using 3% of our account after mastering this method.

2. SELL HIGH & BUY LOW-means Sell at top of countertrend when you get a signal; preference is a strong countertrend move for more room to make your target as price moves back into the trend; like a slingshot, we wait for the countertrend to pull back price and then BOOM…we get a signal.

3. Best not to take signals near the bottom of a move with the trend; fib the countertrend move to determine if price has trended too far into it; for example, its not wise to enter a trade if it signals at the 0.786 fib level of the countertrend move; that’s not enough room to make your target as price frequently turns around there.

4. Best if point 3 of the 123 pattern is a stationary candle instead of 1 candle forming both points 2 and 3.

Hi Steve Nice Post Except For 1 Thing What Does It Matter If The Ema Touches On Daily Chart? We Only Use Daily At The Close Of Day To Determine Trend Direction The Next Day. If The Emas Are Crossed Even If Its By 1 Pip It Is Still A Cross And As Long As Rsi Is Above For Long And Below 50 For Short And So Is The Ema Then Its A Go And Then We Dont Bother Looking At Daily Anymore
