DislikedI think it is time to look for buys again it seems that aussie has bottomed at 8600, at least temporarily. we have 3 higher lows/highs on the hourly chart. I am oscillating between placing a buy at 8650 and 8700. 8650 seems much safer because the stop would be close to the low, but if this thing continues to go up like it did until now, I might now get filled.Ignored

DislikedYou may be right with going either way. If you look on the monthly, it seems that real major support is still far away, around 0.8000-0.8200. I will pay attention to how Aussie behaves and will close trades at any sign of serious weakness.Ignored
DislikedP.S. I still cant imagine a market dropping 1200 pips without any retracement.Ignored

DislikedWE are in no mans land now. Theres no way I would long this and its too late to short without a decent pullback first so I wouldnt touch it to be honest right now...just my thoughts, RazIgnored
Dislikedto post that here at FF is a waste of time. I have in the past posted and then you get all the newbies that have all the answers but in reality are no more than wannabes,Ignored
QuoteDislikedI posted comments here for the benefit of one person so that they would not look for further upside to jackos method in the Aud.
QuoteDislikedmaybe some one should start a professional forum where those seeking membership must have live trading experience and then the sharing of ideas and analysis will become much more benificial to those that actualy do this for a living.
QuoteDislikedI'm sorry but I have no time for the constant posts in here with the I'm short anyone else with me crap but I could be wrong but maybe not and should I use a SL and whwere should it be but what ifs and what nots. most do not listen and will still wander from thread to thread no matter what you tell them looking for profit but not knowledge.
QuoteDislikedto weed through all of that to the meat and potatoes posts is more than I care to do everyday anymore.
QuoteDislikedto trade one must do a daily analysis everyday of the market they trade be it the aud, euro, yen or pound, or whatever exotic pair is the flavor of the day for you. If you do this everyday with the fundis and tech aspect and in my case EW also then you KNOW with a certain degree of probability where the markety is going to go.
QuoteDislikedthese are the people I would love to see in a forum, those that are serious about trading not guessing and wandering aimlessly from thread to thread begging for help and looking for calls.
QuoteDislikedThen I will gladly post and share charts and complete analysis and compare and share all I have but this is a business for me and I dont have time for those that treat it as a sideline to help brokers drive fancy cars and live in million $ houses.

DislikedI put in a buy stop earlier @ 8715 (very conservative MM), SL 8622. Thats where I want to be in the long from if price moves up, but I don't have an entry for the short, yet.
And now I'm going shopping too!Ignored

DislikedHey PP,
looks like youre in, good luck! Things are getting warmer for me too. I would like to see a 4hr+ close above the area we are in now (.8725) and then a pullback and THEN I will look to long with you. I dont know if we will get there but gold is up and eur is up...both good signs for a long. Take care, RazIgnored
DislikedHi Razl,
I B/E'd it in the end because the other majors were performing much better for me. The Aussie was the only one that looked like it was fighting to stay up against a (comparitively) weak dollar, so i shut it down because i didn't need it. Do you know what is Jacko's advice on the aussie right now? I like the method he explained in his first post, but i don't follow the rest of that thread.Ignored
