While there is a quiet moment you mentioned before about
the MM side of the trade being about £1 x 2 lots and There seems to be
at least 1 trade a week with a MM of 3% loss acceptable would that
require a pot of around £15000 .Ignored

£15k is decent is you're trading part-time and have a job. Heck, any amount is fine if you've got a job. (As long as you don't risk a large % of your equity on each trade of course.)
If you want to quit work and trade full-time, FOR A LIVING, then I would recommend £20,000 initial capital. And this £20k has to be money you can afford to lose.
3% risk is relatively high. Try to lower it to 2%.Ignored
