Akukaya, I think you need to make some major changes to this ea and the way it trades. I started with a $10,000 demo account and in about eight hours the account was down to $2000. This type of drawdown is hardly acceptable. I turned the EA off and I am done with it. I wouldn't even know where to begin to fix it but when it makes a trade and the pair goes against it, it just keeps making trades until it blows up. Sorry man, best of luck.

Yes the MM is not that great. Doubling up will lead to overleaveraging pretty soon. My Account is now up 243% after two days but could easily be -243%
It's just luck. If I had started the EA an hour later things might be different which is the greatest problem of this EA. To much randomness.

As I told, the EA behave that way:

Loss days: ~ -USD20 (2000)
Win days: ~> +USD35 (3500)

Yesterday is loss day.. i trade with real micro lot USD50.

Just because yesterday some spikes stop and early stop, I OFF and ON again the EA.
Manage to get ~USD10(manual close because I need to off internet). So balance left $40.

Today is win day.. , Balance USD88. Enough for today...

If my back test correct, the EA will have more win days compare to loss day. Try back test for months..or see my results attached earlier.

I try to filter bad days, so no trade for lossing day, and increase win rate

When do you close the EA?
Just when you think it enough?
As I said to much randomness.
An EA has to work like a swiss watch.
Currently trading 7.2 Lots on 5k which is nuts!

The EA should close automatically, but of course u can manually close them.

It close about ~USD20(2000) for loss days
It close about ~USD35(3500) for winning days

to reduce randomness, open at same time for a day...I open at the 1st or 2nd candle each day in H1.
The trade decision either buy/sell is done not random, it based on 2 indicators.

Account now down 4000$ left with 1000$.
This is what you get for trading 7.2 Lots with only 5k account.

After two days I am up 18%. My most recent day's trades earned 48%. This came after a first day loss of 20%. I don't think I would be brave enough to trade this on a live account. The words gambling and risky come to mind. But it is fun and interesting to try. I hope the EA does well for akukaya since he is trading real money.

In dollar terms, I started with a $10000 account.
Day one lost $2026
Day two earned $3810
Balance is $11784

I am running my test on FXDD so I consider the new day starts with the new daily bar at 21:00 GMT.

It's not about I brave enough for try with real live.
It's about I am interested to test it at real money after sometimes of backtesting...somehow I think USD50 is what I can effort to loss...not USD5000


Mine with real USD50 results:

Day 1:
1st run : -20.28 (autostop)
2nd run: +5.68 (manual stop)
3nd run: +6.72 (manual stop)

Balance= 42.12

Day 2:
1st run :+46.16(autostop)

Balance=88.28
-------------------------------

Day 3:
1st run:-24.40(autostop)
2nd run : on going..


so worst case today balance will be ~USD40
best case balance ~USD98.

if achieve best case, tomorrow I will open another account USD50.
if not, I will have another 2 run...

Good case:
if win rate per week: 3wins day/2 loss day

3 win days = 3 x 35 =USD105
2 loss days = 2 x 20 =USD40
net profit= USD65
balance will be ~ USD50 +USD65=USD115.

Bad Case:
risk the USD50...

To me interesting trial with minimum risk...

enough for today...

From now on, I can experiment with free money.
take back my deposit USD50. then test with the profit money.

But I decide to test by open account 2 from this profit money.

Tomorrow, I will have 2 accounts.

Since I started off with short trades for August 13th. things did not go well. I lost $3106 so my balance is now $8678. I did notice that the EA opened 12.8 lots short spread over 5 trades. I don't know if a live account would have allowed this many lots to be opened.

I noticed in the Journal log that after having 12 lots open the EA tried to open another trade for 5.6 lots.

mybroker, LiteForex, with live MINIlite account, min lot allowable is 0.1 and max lot allow per trade is 8.0
not sure for total lot allow but I did it with my real account.

Sorry, I dont know exactly what GMT.

But my broker start time 00:00 is equivalent at 5.00a.m in my country, Malaysia. So it just nice for me when I wake up in the morning, prepare to go work and on it sometimes at 6.00a.m, some times at 7.00a.m.

normally at 12.00p.m I will back home for lunch with family.
If trade closed already with win, enough for the day.
If trade closed already with loss, if balance allows, I will trade 2nd run.

Liteforex uses Sigtrader from Straighthold Investments. Their server time is GMT+3. So 00:00 server time should be 21:00 GMT.

Does this mean that you do not start the EA immediately after the new day starts? I am asking because the EA apparently entered long trades for you on August 13th and short trades for me. I entered my trades at 21:06 GMT which would be 6 minutes into the new day on Liteforex. If you entered later that might explain why we had trades in opposite directions.

I also apologize for not using the preferred broker for testing. On other threads I often criticize people for posting results that are from different brokers because it can make a thread confusing. So I feel a little guilty here. I am using FXDD which has the same server time as Liteforex.

After total profit close to 100%, I call broker for open me another account. The account 2 created but the deposit still floating.

So I proceed with my first account. Today, After I back from home, the account autostop after -USD10..so balance left USD88.48

I dont know exactly why it autostop after -USD10, I need to check the EA.

so no further trading today...

I got an idea to filter losing days...will stop real trade for a while..till new version ready..

Made some profit today. If AkuKaya loses while I make money with the same EA that just shows that timing is just too important for this EA to be sucessful.
Usually everyone should get the same results with the same settings and EA.

If it was like mine you got a margin call and all trades were closed. This is the first time I ever had a profit with a margin call.

While you are reviewing the EA you might consider;
It should not try to open more and larger trades until the platform won't allow it. Trading the maximum lot size margin will allow is a recipe for disaster.

OK so far, no real money loss..


I need to make some changes on the EA.

1)Set start time..so everybody will start with same time
2)Avoid margin call
3)Filtering those losing days patterns/increase win rates
4)Check back the best deposit amount for this kind of agressive lots. increase.
