If you buy gbp/usd and sell eur/usd, is that the same as being short eur/gbp? 1 reply
Disliked"Apart from the Ravi FX Fisher, I don't recognise the other indicator(s); is one TrendEnvelopes?"
Yes, it's the TrendEnvelopes indicator.
"If you could list the indicators and preferred settings for the daily TF that would be great."
I'm using just the TrendEnvelopes and the RAVI. The deviation for the DAILY, I've set at .04.
"Are you entering purely on RaviFx or a combination of both indicators? And how are you calculating your stop"
I wait for a signal from the TrendEnvelopes and verify the signal with RAVI. RAVI should be on the south side for a TE SHORT and vice versa. My STOP is a reversal of the TE.
You can take multiple positions rather than holding one position for an extended period by closing your position on a reversal and cross of the RAVI and then placing a entry order about 50 pips above/below the current price going in the direction of the TE>
Fairly straightforward.
Let me know if that didn't make too much sense.Ignored

DislikedThe TP is subjective. I typically close on the RAVI bottoming out and then place re-entry orders about 50 pips going in the same direction.
I've posted the AUD/USD showing entries and which ones lined up with the RAVI and which ones didn't. A couple could have been good trades anyway, but the pair had become vary choppy. It is what it is.
The circles are trades, the squares are bad areas.Ignored
