To all:
i am ready to open a mini account in FXDD. As i saw most of you guys trade on FXDD.
the costumer agreement is a never ending book, i would need 1 week to read and understand all, i guess you all didnīt read it completely. I found at the end that the limit of a mini account is $500. This is ok for me.

Now my questions:
- Does FXDD offer many pairs to trade? at least all the onces you were talking about in the last weeks?

- Untill august 8 i get 8% additionally on my account fund.
Itīs written:
"The bonus credit to the account is effective when the new deposit is credited and is subject to the client completing at least 150 full lot closed trades on or before the close of business (4 p.m. EDT) on Friday, October 31, 2008."
I donīt understand it right.
Do i need after funding my account to make 150 full lot closed trades to receive the 8%?

- If i donīt trade, or not 150 full lots, then i receive the 8% bonus on october 31?

- as i understood, a full lot is for a standard account (min. $5000) $100.000.
for a mini account ($500) it is $10.000, right?

Finally i saw there are 4 different trading platforms:
- Meta trader
- FXDD trader
- FXDD Auto
- Power trader (min, $50.000, ok forget it )

- when a have a account and money, can i always choose the platform and switch?
or shall i decide before?
- which one do you use?

Sorry, questions over questions, i am a beginner.

The limit for starting your account is $500.00. After opening your account, you can add funds whenever you like with no limit. If your account is going to have $500.00 or less, I would really suggest you trade micro-lots rather than mini-lots. FXDD can arrange that for you. Just contact them in advance.

FXDD has 20 currency pairs, which should include most of what you've seen discussed on the thread.

Check with FXDD. When I funded my account a few months ago, they just wanted to see 150 trades in whatever type of account you opened (standard, mini, or micro).

I use MetaTrader. I'm not sure why you would want to switch platforms each time you trade, but my suggestion would be to contact FXDD with that question.

no, not each time i trade, but may be one day i decide tu change from metatrader to FXDD platform, because there are some advantages for me, f. ex.
But i guess, if i use metatrader, i can use these EAs, right? with FXDD may be i cannot?

yes that s what i want. Micro-lots means 1000 $ ?

Thatīs the advantage of marketiva. Itīs very good for beginners. You can trade with 1$ if you want. Marketiva offers you 5$ when you open a account.

I knew a guy, a forex-beginner who started with the offered 5$ and made over 200$ with trading in one month, he took the money and left 20$ to do it again. But then it didnīt work out so well for him.
Now he is trading "quietly" making 5-15% per month.

What does "quietly" mean? He won't teach you? Currently that is what I am looking for, a method to make about 10% average return on investment per month.

Does anyone believe ASHFX can make 10% a month. I see people say it makes a lot of pips, but that does not mean much until you figure in the risk/reward ratio.

Quietly means... how can you make 200$ with 5$? only with full risk on any trade. And he had a f... good luck. Now he s following the standard rules i think, not taking to much risks.... how it should be.
I cannot tell more. Last time i had contact with him was 1 year ago, in a HYIP-forum that doesnīt exist anymore.
He is still a beginner in my opinion so i didnīt want to ask him how he trades. May be he is not trading anymore, who knows, he s a student.

I can only say i will try ashfx-method and the signals posted here and see by myself
May be it makes 10%, or 100% a month, it depends with which leverage you trade.
Anyway i am happy an thankfull that Ash showed his system and about all the people working together here.

Hi All

I see the following trades on FXDD:

1. EURJPY Short (SS trade)

Stop: 16995 (252 pips)
Entry ~ 16743
TP1: 16646 (97 pips)

2. GBPJPY Short (FS trade)

Stop: 21412 (152 pips)
Entry ~ 21260
TP1: 21108 (152 pips)

GBPJPY looks to be the better option as the RR is more favourable and it is a First Strength trade.
The above figures are based on Fridays close so will change by the time the Monday candle opens but it what I will be looking at tomorrow night.

Any comments?

Might make more depending on how the market trends.I n very ranging markets might not be too helpful though..

Anyone here seen GBP/JPY as good short?
I saw it on FXDD MT4, and I think it's a FS.

SL:152 pips. (SL=Candle's high - Candel's close)

I am asking from purely a realistic moneymanagement point of view, ie. 2% risk based on the stoploss and a 1:1 or beter risk/reward.

I am also glad that Ash has shared this method.

I'm not saying this is a losing system or anything (in fact it should be quite profitable) but since we are on the topic of people posting their pips and all, I will say this: I've noticed on forexfactory no one likes to brag about their losses, everyone always brags about how many pips they make. FF members rarely post when they lose. so just remember that when you read any thread on the internet, you are getting a very biased view.. The people who lost money a) don't goto the forum anymore, or b) just don't post. think about it.
who wants to brag about losing money? so of course on every single thread here you will only see positive comments (mostly) saying how they made X pips today or this week.. but a few months later you don't see them anymore.

btw, thanks ash for this system

anyway everyone should test it out for themselves.

10% a month is an unrealistic goal, you are on your path to failure with that kind of thinking.

try 1-5% (heck try anything above 0 for that matter!).. for a consistent 6 months......... forex.. don't quit your day job!

does everybody advise me tu use metatrader as the platform on FXDD?
i have already MT4 for analysis and demo trades. Itīs even in german.

Of the two choices I use their MetaTrader platform. The other platform is Java based. I try to keep Java based applications to a minimum since they sometimes conflict on my computer. If you aren't sure I think you should try a demo of the Java based FXDD Trader platform. It is a free download. I think most people on this forum who have an account with FXDD use their MT4 platform so we might be biased. If you plan to enter or manage trades with EAs you would need the MT4 platform. You might also check with FXDD to see if you can trade micro lots with the FXDD Trader platform. I know you can with the MT4 platform if you request it.

Ash has stated many times in this thread that he uses Metatrader demo on FXDD for his signals so it would be advisable to do the same as it looks like most others posting here are also using FXDD. It just makes it easier if we are all looking at the same data.

I am sure this system will be just as effective on any other feed but then makes it difficult to ask others their opinion about signals.

it is not the first PSAR dot above the candle that gives the signal, so acc. to Ashīs rules, it is not a signal ... in my opinion. Or is also the second PSAR dot valid?
On the first PSAR dot above the candle the AC is green -> so no signal.
