i don't know where the problem is. i was just wondering if his charts perhaps show this, but let's close this case...

seen the lower wicks, but it is just a news spike for taking out bullish stops. so price can rise without those bulls selling into it by profit taking. i am still bullish. this pinbar supports me but i am not taking a trade in this crappy area. so am i in gbpchf, looks like a cherry to pick.
but as always, i could possibly be 101% wrong

Expansion of the uptick rule.
We've all heard about the uptick rule where it was only legal to naked short sell stocks when the last movement on the prices was upwards. Is it possible that the SEC will enact a new policy where the uptick rule is applied not only to naked short sells, but rather to selling in general, regardless of whether you are short selling, or even own the stock and wish to get out of the trade.

Even with bad numbers for us we see a drop and stop retracement. Before you know it geppy will be back to where it was before news. They will keep it up until they get something positive to justify their move up.

Excuse my ignorance, but could you explain to me how US bad data can push DOW higher? Is there something I'm missing here? I mean, shouldn't it be the other way round?

JOKE, my friend..
you see all last 2 month, the market is ignoring all the bad reports, the price is goes up higher, and higher. I am joking, but you''re right, we should see a drop in USD pairs, 100pip and more.. (but.. the market story is different... )

I don't understand. Certain traders here who I normally respect as traders have spread there sentiment to be bearish. I don't see how. Nothing will make this go down. So far everything that comes out against geppy has been a temporary reaction. Price keeps goin back to where it was. Somthin fishy.

It is not a FISH, it is TUNA..

You see. GBP,, today VERY BAD report (housing)
USD VERY BAD reports (unemployments, and GDP)

and 10 min before the market opening.. GY is running.. nobody care about the reports, they know that whatever is happens, big BEN is going to FIX it. Just write a speach or TWo, print couple miles of new Fresh papers, and that it is. Now get back to trading.. market is set for a RUN

My guess: typically traders who have not been around trading that long, and who happened to ride one of those big G.Y drops down, making good money FAST.

Then this experience is ingrained in their mind, and they keep waiting for a repeat

Problem is, by the time we get the repeat, they have exhausted their capital with numerous attempts to go short and catch the next "big one"

Look at charts and count how many weeks have passed (indeed, months) where people are bearish and this thing closed the week UP

Eventually we will get a big drop again and many will jump up "see, I TOLD you it'd go down the crapper" (yeah, telling us since this was 1500pips lower)
