just depends on the time zone and where you live. mine hits at 2pm pac. time zone. i live in washington state and my broker is ibfx. i wish they offer commodities and the dow index.
the interests are paid depending on the broker... there are brokers that dont even pay the interest since they are "leveraging" and u r not using "real" money... but "levaraged"
time varies as well

i just closed the long and reopened the short.. has room till 213.00 if dow falls

dow will not fall today and if youve noticed it has disconnected from the dow for now. no telling when it will connect but when it does it will send this pair higher.

U.S. investors can't trade commodities spot do to law. No international broker will take us accept Northern Finance which purchased FX Pro. I don't feel comfortable with them. I'm going to form a corporation with a Canadian friend and find a new broker. Canadian citizens can trade commodities spot.

I haven't been trading this pair long enough to notice the correlation. How long have you notice the correlation with the dow? Dow goes up gbp/jpy goes up?

yes it does go up but lately it has lost the correlation to the dow. g/y is g/u*u/y. if you notice and look at g/u right now and look at u/y the both are falling and g/y will follow. but if g/u falls and u/y heads the opposite direction they g/y will head north like u/y would. how long have you been trading. ive been tradiing for about a 1.5 yrs now?
NF is outside of Russia. I think its illegal for them to allow U.S. clients but they don't seem to follow the rules.

what are the laws that prohibit us from trading dow index's? i dont know all the laws just wished my broker offers it. i have a demo set up with whc a broker from russia but i will not open a live account to them as i dont trust them. the demo account wont expire as long as you have a traded open.
