That's very nice of you. Actually we're all doing this together and I appreciate everyone's help with all the EAs I've been working on and the creators of those systems. It would be difficult to think of everything and test all the possibilities so it's nice to have help which benefits me as well.

Can you believe I had the chance to do anything I wanted to tonight and this is what I chose. I don't feel bad. Actually I'm feeling very motivated tonight and updating some of the EAs. I actually started playing LOTRO and decided to do this instead.

Have a great weekend.

I'm planning on running IBFX and FXDD with all the possible pairs that match between the two brokers. I will use the default settings. The reason for both brokers is to see, over time, if one performs better than the other.

By testing all pairs I hope to see some rise to the surface as money makers and others to do poorly. My overall results may be negative but I'll be checking closely to see which ones shine. Once we've seen some of the poor performers then we may want to consider tweaking the settings for those.

Of course I hope all here will try what the like and experiment. I value everyones time/resources. Thanks for everyone's help.

Hey look... We're pushing 10 pages now and it feels good. Thanks to everyone who's spoken up and contributed with results, feedback, suggestions, or just to say thanks.

Looking forward to next week.

Here are my past week results on 4 majors @ alpari-uk & ibfx, with available latest version as July,20, with default settings:

ibfx
GBP/USD +61
EUR/USD -503
USD/JPY +214
USD/CHF +471

total: +243 pips

alpari-uk
GBP/USD +372
EUR/USD -379
USD/JPY +44
USD/CHF -384

total: -347 pips

I will not make any comments about brokers so diferent results, because i'm sure mtaboneweb fixed some problems happened with no sunday bar brokers.
It seems EUR/USD needs a different aproach on settings, but we are still in the beggining of testing, and i feel it's too soon to change the settings for only one pair.

I will test again next week with the latest available version.

Thanks mtaboneweb for your great work!

Yes, I made a lot of tweaks to the EA this past week and have the latest version posted. I found a few potential problem and think I have it rock solid now.

A reminder to all,
Don't forget to set the "BrokerHasSundayBar" to true/false on the new EA.
Also remember to consider changing the "BrokerCloseHour" setting. For me I set it to 19 for IBFX and 22 for FXDD since they are 3 hours different from each other and those times are 1 hour before market close.

As for the EUR/USD, it did very well for me when I was paper trading over the past 7 months although it did have an occasional bad week here and there.

Thanks for sharing your results.

More info for my week. Broker was IBFX. Here's how the individual pairs faired. Just to note, i tweaked the distance for jpy to 30, and then change some of the sl tp by about 5 pips one way or another for some of them. Going forward, i'm going to use all defaults for awhile to get a good baseline before tweaking anything.
swap profit
eurusd0.00-4.58gbpusd-0.106.59usdjpy-0.02-1.45

Total profit (pips) = 44 for the week.

Good day...

I am trying out the EA for fun and its opening orders and then removing the pending orders... it has done this like 200 times in the last few hours. I don't think a broker would let you run this EA for long. You need to fix this. When price gets 15 pips from the trigger area then it can put back on the pending order. To see it go up and down within a 10 pip range and open and remove pending orders all day and night is crazy! IMHO

I've been running the EA on 6 pairs since Sunday's open and only have 9 canceled orders. I'm also using the default settings with OrderDistance set to 50. What settings are you using and with how many pairs?

12 days of trading completed, since 10th of july i believe account is up over 20%, all default settings, except u/j at 30, in process of reworking settings for the other 3 as they work better. talkin about 4 majors here! so a little over two weeks, and up over 20%, although in the process of modifying the approach with this thing, and we can easily be over 25% a week, risking only 1% per trade. play around with this thing, look at some atr data, and average deviation from open price daily, and you can come up with an order distance that will achieve supreme results, and also an optimum pip total to end the week early in some circumstances!
It is extremely important the MT4 run all week with the charts open and EA attached. No EA can do its thing unless everything is running. That's why you have an EA to trade for you.
Hi mtaboneweb

Thanks for all your works just to improve the life of others.

Please I am new to forex trade. And I want to join to test run your EA.
Please kindly explain to me, do you also mean that my computer and internet connection should not be put off all week, to get the EA working ?

Once again, thanks for sharing.

markpips.
