There were a number of posts regarding this signal starting at #1634. Some took this trade; I personally did not and posted my reasons at the time, so take a look back at those posts.

The loophole would be blindly following every signal. Ash has stated, and every trader should know, that S & R is king. It can't be ignored when you're considering whether or not to take a signal. I also look at trend lines and how price reacts around them, as I noted in the post regarding the gpb/usd trade you asked about.

I think I've discovered the reason. If I drink a lot of beer, I think my jokes are funny, but then I get sick. If I just write about beer, I still think my jokes are funny, but I only make others sick.

Thanks for taking the time to create this thread. I was a wholehearted supporter of the OzFX system and did really well with it for several months, but things seemed to change overnight and the results became much more hit and miss.

As Ronald Raygun noted, for those of us who traded OzFX, your system seems somewhat like a "cousin". There's some definite similarities, but I like the additional safeguards built into AshFX to prevent getting into questionable trades. And, you've been honest enough to stress the need to take a good look at S & R before entering a trade, which will help traders to actually learn to trade instead of blindly following every signal. Your suggested MM, in my opinion, is also a vast improvement over the OzFX system.

I actually shorted this at last night's market open.

For those of you who went long on the USD/CAD on the 23rd of July, then I would recommend you exit now, (even though the AO is still green). Why? There is strong resistance as can be seen. Price has bounced off this area several times over the few months.
