not bad, but not as relaxing as urs

yep, i think there will be lots of good swing trades this week. we are out of the stupid range on all pairs. the only thing u should pray for is being on the right side of the trend, there won't be any coming back to the current levels for a long time, it's that time.

Hehe Anyway i wanna be here when geppy breaks that descending TL best viewed on the weekly tf and also that H&S neckline, that might be holding the price as im thinking. We will have much much better range ;-)

sorry i wasn't around to answer u earlier. i'm working on some filters to filter out most of the bad traders. plus, i'm working on laying out (noting down) most of the scenarios that face the system which i know when i look at, but not easy for someone who is about to start using the system. once i have all this stuff on my word document i'll post it here

it might be as soon as next week, but no promises, sorry.

there's something that ovaforty pointed out once that i really took into consideration. he said that i have the discipline to carry out my system, but others don't. so i'm going to make it as simple as possible, although it might be one of the hardest systems out there for a newbie to learn yet very profitable. i never noticed myself how hard it was to get accustomed to it until i posted it here lately and all these questions started hammering my PM folder.

Hello Everyone;

During the last 3 months I have been following this threat closely, I have found mostly everyone analysis to be great and richfull.

This is why I consider this place to be the most adequate to generate the following discussion

Everyone here, is saying that GBP/JPY will fall tremendously to the bottom, although this monster usually falls rapidly and uncontrollably, I do not concur with the amount of fall we could expect from geppy, my observation is the following:

Currency pairs that have important rates differentials should usually uptrend in the big run, this is basically because in the long run, everyone is buying them mostly for the rate. If you look a monthly chart, you will see that since 2001, Geppy has been uptrending, and even now, with the big dip at the end of 2007 and jan 2008 it still going up.

So I ask myself, why is not better to trade always in the long side? I mean, if we were long since 2001, and our primary strategy will be only collecting the interest from roll, this will be an incredible good strategy right?

Does this idea sound crazy to you?

I am eager to listen to your opinions.

fundametally you are absolutely correct, BUT technically that whole concept is shaded for Gann and Elliot has proved tthat a market any market must move in cycles or waves from smallest to largest degree's. Yes had u bought in 2000 you are a big winner and would of been liquidating im sure at least some into the lt rally, only to be be adding to your positions down here or lower. yet at this level one cannot know for certainty of a coninuation from here or more declines to fullfill the larger degree of pattern.

alright, i just took a look at the news calendar and here's what i think about this week:
- down to 211 area until tuesday
- up after usd news on tuesday
- down again on wednesday... could go below 211 or not, but not below daily supporting trend line
- up from wednesday, and until friday when we will have nfp and ism on usd...
most likely a new high on g-j, 216.95 area... or a little it higher
- down starting on friday... august 1st... nfp and ism are expected negative for usd so i'm thinking big guys would push g-j higher so they could short it big time
and that's all i have to say about it. fundamentally, that is.

Well, nothing is going on. I'm getting a bullish bias on daily; however, there is a bearish bias on M15 and soon will be on m30.

EDIT: M15 50ema has been touched by price. At the moment, it isn't going down below 50EMA.

Here is my strategy.

I'm looking at fibo on 1hr tf right now and it is going toward .681. If it stops there, that would be my confirmation for a buy.
