It was mainly the GBP that fell , not the carries. Take a look at GBP/NZZD it fell from 3.0 to 2.45

Sup dude ... I'm not sure I agree with your Long on the NZD yet I would wait for a better entry. For the first time I made a trade based on fundamentals and I caught 80 pips while driving home. But im sure I will give it back later ... lol ...

Whats your TP Target ? ... I still think we will see it fall below 74 as further cuts are pending ...

GD.. wow did that move a lot more than the nzd/jpy I was in before the rate announcement. perhaps because of the smaller yield differential this is a preffered currency for longer term strategy

I cleaned up on this thing today. Think I will end the night flat from my relentless shorting as it now seems to be bouncing towards a major support @ around .7434. I have a limit short order at .7399, if it gets around to this level it will have started to break its daily head and shoulder pattern

The arrow (direction), Check Sign (the Targer) and Cross sign (The end Target). The arrows at second and third rows.. is probably retrace/reverse point....

A descending triangle is finishing on hourly chart

I think a possible break will depend on the strength of the US news in an hour

There was a small movement on this pair during news announcement.
The picture of descending triangle is still actual. But one day it would break, maybe not this week.

Don't trade this pair now... Due to rate cut this pair has develop negative sentiment..... from chart and price actions it apears as.....they want this pair down....to enjoy NZD weakness....i feel this pair going through intervention.
it shows it is going up and then sudden push down..creating new low.
this is my view. it rises due to daily Buy demand and once it is over ...again pushed down again.
